A few of us got together Sunday for breakfast.

JrRifleCoach was down, so CentralCoaster and Cuisinartvette came in, too!

Bastet and I only live a mile or so away from the place!

This is the small group of Vettes.

In the first pic, from left, Cuisinarts 90 ZR1, CC's 85, my 92 and JrRC's Accord.

The 2nd pic, it's JrRifleCoach, Cuisinart, CentralCoaster and me. Bastet took the picture!

Damn, I am fat.

That camera takes some GREAT pictures. I am more than a little impressed!

Tans? I am a white shade of pale. If I go into the sun without a shirt on, people are blinded by the reflections.

Cuisinart is in the sun a lot. CC isn't. I can't speak for JrRC.

And as big boned as I am... I am still fat... I must lose some weight.

Hell, I got a drivers tan just on the way up!

If you want to lose weight, get a treadmill powered server. An average human can sustain about 200W output, so you may need to recruit some help.

And next time don't stand next to me in the photo! Fat is relative, especially if you have fat relatives.

Don't let all those fat comments get to you, Andy. Some of the great men in history were a bit on the rotund side as well (Winston Churchill and Jackie Gleason come to mind and, oh yeah, Divine). I wouldn't mind a Guru get together in Palm Beach County but offhand, I only know of two members relatively local to me, Toptechx6 and Hermin8tor. I think jstardneck is a member too but I haven't seen Dana in a while and I don't know if he even has his 92 anymore as he was trying to sell it. TommyT-Bone is a bit south of here but he's a pretty weird guy so I don't know what that would be like. If anyone's in my area and would like to get together on a weekend, let me know...

I talked with my doctors and my probation officer and they all said it would be O.K. as long as I stayed on my meds. There is an all you can eat Chinese buffet on Pines/Hollywood Blvd in Ft Lauderdale by the Perry Airport. That would be pretty good for a Sunday lunch. Ft Lauderdale would be middle ground and a breakfast buffet or a Hooters or something would be cool. Sunday is the best day for me because I work Saturdays as long and as it's not on an autocross weekend. The wife likes to go to these things too.Maybe take both the vettes. Other clubs have events also. We could just hook up at a sponsored event. If I find something that would be accommodating I'll post it in regional. Too Hott is a So Fl. member also. You could always just PM each other that way I'd never know.

Ah, so that explains the ankle bracelet I saw you wearing in a couple of pics of you and cars. And PMing each other to keep you out of the loop is a great idea. Brilliance and insanity often go hand in hand. The movie "A Beautiful Mind" is a great example of this...

Dude, you are ALWAYS in San Diego when I call... don't even start.

Be it known, while you and Bastet were out gallivanting on the Right (err, wrong?) Coast, I've been in the greater L.A. area for three wekkends straight. And with the C5 no less.

This ought to get me invite to do something next weekend.

see??? see??? you spend your weekends in LA while we are out of town. I think I see a trend... sniff.

Florida guys - if you want to do a gathering, pick a spot that is central to as many as possible and then schedule it! It really isn't that hard.

Andy, In case you didn't notice. Florida is a big, long state. I think we'll have to do it in regions. Like Southeast, Southwest, Central, Northeast and the Northwest can drag in the good ole boys from Bama and Joeja.

CA is a big long state too. Jackson to Miami is the same distance as Sonora to LA.

We don't need no stinking regions!

I'm talking about for Guru gatherings not a state break down. Tampa and Orlando is a 4+ hour drive for me. That's 8+ hours of driving to have a freakin breakfast or lunch. If the guys from Palm Beach come down and the guys from Miami go up, and the guys from Fort Lauderdale stay where their at, we can have a meeting in the Southeast. One day I have to go hook up with Shadow and his crew over by Tampa/St Pete. That's an overnighter at my sisters or mothers place for sure. That's what I'm talkin about Willis!

I know... what I was suggesting was trying to find the best location that fit the region.

I am more than aware how long FL is... I have driven the run from Miami to JAX... it's a haul...

Miami to Jackson ain't shit. Cmon Andy. Get the frog back together and make a trip up here for the Mother Lode Roundup in May. The local Corvette group gets together, does the parade thing and we burn burgers and scare the neighbors for the rest of the day. Hell your invited to sleep at our home if you can endure the arduous trip of 5.5 hours.......

For that matter anyone is invited to join us. I just don't have that much room to board everyone. Your welcome to pitch tents if your inclined.......

that has fun written all over it.

I used to drive from Delaware to FL... and did the entire run non-stop (16+ hours) a couple of times.
