Post the article up. I don't get that one and I let my other vette mags expire since they never had C4 stuff in them anyway.

Target practice at my house.

One large white chester-molster van will be used as target. Goes by name of "Rusty."

Oh, and "them?" What's that crap? Only 1 isn't running. That's an "it." "Them" implies plural.

I have been so busy today... Didn't have the time to say the most important things to say.

First off, a big thank you to Corvette Enthusiast, specifically, Andy Bolig, for helping us get in there!

Secondly, a big thank you to all the current active members who have been supporting us for all these months. It's nice to know there are others out there looking for something new and different.

Finally, but not lacking in importance - WELCOME to all the new members!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!! I can see Pappy donating the first tech article claiming to be bogus. In the middle of it he goes off topic about the fountain of youth, and directly after the 750 chopper. hehehe!!!

New sticker: fugginfountain 'f yewthferum.

Pappy should be his bodyguard and make Andy ride on the handlebars.

great. now I will have nightmares...

We may pick on poor Pappy, but you have to admit, he is a good sport, seems to have his heart in the right place (surgeries not withstanding) and considering the way he types, it makes entirely too much sense... amazing.

I am convinced he is a professor with several PhD's and is doing an experiment on us.

Nice little write up in the "Enthusiast Notes" section under the title "Do You Guru". I got the latest issue in the mail and was happy to see Bogus' name in print! :thumbleft: :thumbright:
I am also going to give the site some press when I write my soon-to-be published article for the same rag.
I flew down to Florida in July to inspect a hot rod C3 for a friend I made on the big forum from Belgium. The car is on the Ro-Ro ship now and expected to be delivered in the port of Zebrugge, Belgium on Oct 8. Once I get the pics of it rolling off the ship I will send the article to Andy Bolig on how the whole deal went down.
It will be titled: "In Brugges and Ft Pierce, a Tale of Two Cities".
Hell, they might even pay me!

vettebabe1, was her handle, IIRC.

She was quite active on CF a few years back. Had the car in the article, an 87, sold it, bought a 90 or 91 yellow 6sp coupe from a fellow CF'r called "Mr. CJ." Mr. CJ was a parts vendor and rebuilder, among other things.

Many mistakes were made, and, as far as I am concern, Mr CJ took some advantage of this and sold her what became a real lemon. The car was somewhat restore/reconstructed... I am not clear of why he had it and why it was so apart.

However, the yellow one went and was replaced with a steel blue 91 ZR1. Lovely ride. About the same time, she became more active in equestrian events, so she sold the Z to fund a new horse.

About 2 years back, she got the itch to get her old 87 back and did so. I suspect the details of that are better outlined in the story, so I won't ruin it for everyone.

I really doubt much is said about the yellow one. That ultimately lead to Mr CJ vanishing from CF. He also had generated quite a rep for not delivering parts ordered - and already paid for! The war was quite nasty, too. There were those who Mr CJ took great care of, and then there were those he screwed, and the ones he took great care of were mods and members of good repuation; he ripped on the newbs, so when they complained, what kind of weight did that carry? Not much... until the pattern started to show...

I haven't heard from Mr CJ since the yellow vette. I think he kinda lurked, but he never really posted much after the truth started to come out. One other thing, I think CF was forcing him to become a vendor, which he was unwilling to do - $$$ were the issue as I understand it.

Congratulations on the write-up Bogus. It's always nice to get a little deserved recognition.

I met Andy Bolig at the Cruise-In this past May. He struck me as having a genuine interest in the "man on the street" type Corvette owner...

I agree. It's so much better than Vette or Corvette Fever.

It's on a par with Corvette Magazine. There is a huge gap between these two and the other two, it ain't even funny.
