Good Morning CGs!

How is everyone's weekend so far? I've been up for an hour. Sucks sometimes being on a schedule. Oh well.

Finished up 98% of the sheetrock yesterday. Plumber finished piping. We installed the shower base and I installed the shower walls. I have to bump the frame around the shower out a half inch today then we can greenboard the bathroom. I ran out of tapcons, though, so I have to go to my favorite store later. I had to go anyway to pick up the corner bead.

Time to get started in a few minutes.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Hope your wife was happy.

Playtime is over. I have more than a couple of weeks of work around the house ahead of me. Not to much time to goof around here. No time to be sitting around

Moral victory - I got the Christmas lights down today, and all my bones are still intact. Nice, sunny day, but plenty of ice out there still.

Hey Gurus,

I'm a senior air traffic controller/instructor at the nations 3rd busiest radar facility.

As usual, my weekend starts with a 6am-2pm Day-shift Friday, and then right back at 10:30pm to work the Mid-shift until 6:30am Saturday morning.

Yes, you read that correctly. 2 - 8 hour shifts in 24 hours, with 8 hours between them.

Since I haven't perfected the whole "sleep on demand" thing even after 23+ years of trying, I'm generally awake from Friday morning at 5am until I go to sleep Saturday night around 11pm or so depending on what my woman has planned for Saturday night.

The hardest part is usually the 90+ minute drive to our weekend/summer home on the Chesapeake after the Mid-shift for the weekend.

Just got done mulching several trees and a garden area that the dumb dogz like to dig-up. Needless to say I'm kind of brain-dead right about now.

Couple fingers of bourbon and I'll be much better. Well, I'll think I'm better. Like how you're a much better driver after you've been drinking. I know I am! NOT! But I think I am.

20 months and 17 days until retirement, but who's counting?

Hope you guys are having a good deal more fun that I am so far.

Mark

Mark,

I lived on Kent Island from '89-91, down almost to Bloody Point. I lived on a large 250 acre dairy farm down there on Keene Farm rd. It is now sub-divided into multi-million dollar lots and Mac-Mansions.

You know that you are right in our region for the Corvette Club of America. Many of our members are from Frederick and Gaithersburg, as well as many to the east of you like me. Even some on Kent Island.

Take Care, hope you get some sleep!!

Don
