I just found out. I'm bummed, and didn't know who else to tell besides you guys for the time being.

I know it's OT, but anyone with disparaging comments about OEF, please spare me just this once. You can tear me a new one in another post later.

Ironic to go through all the training CCTers get, and be taken out by an IED. Very indiscriminate weapons. Any vehicle or crowd of people will do.

In the close-knit SpecOps community these events hit especially hard, like losing a family member.

Thanx,

Mark

Very sorry to hear that. I just found out a new guy at work lost his actual brother over in Iraq due to sniper fire a couple years back. Things never seem as real until they affect someone you know personally.

Condolences to his family.

It is sad to hear of another war death, it seems even worse when I read about his wife and 1 yr old son. I can only offer my condolences and wishes, thoughts, and prayers for his family.
