Good Morning CGs!

How is everyone feeling the morning after a night of hard partying? Well, maybe not all of us, I know it wasn't me

Supposed to finish working on the neighbor's truck tonight if he's available. Hard to fix stuff when your schedules don't match. I did all the diagnostics the other day and it seems that the COP on cylinder #1 is weak. Not technically out of spec as far as I can tell, but it's the culprit. We'll swap it out and hopefully have it running like a champ.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I have not bracket raced (or even driven) my 87 in about 14 months. After watching my friend win the bike class (last week) and 2 other friends win Street auto, and street stick (this week), I am gonna get the black bitch cleaned up, and ready for a beating. I travel all week to Oklahoma and Florida, so I have to have it race ready by tonight.

We had an exciting Saturday night - got caught up on General Hospital - LMAO!

Sounds like you got the itch bad, Pete! I wish there was a drag strip closer - the nearest one is about 2.5 hours away. There used to be a couple here in the Twin Cities, but they closed down years ago and probably were replaced by condos or something.

Have a safe trip home, Tom!

Good morning, Gurus. I hope everyone had as good a day yesterday as I did!
First of all, and this part is kinda bittersweet, I sold the '85 yesterday AM, but it was to a guy who, along with his father, has a '62 that the father bought in '64, and they want to "finish" what I started on the '85 and use it for weekends, etc. That makes me feel much better about selling it.
Next, we attended an open show in our town, and one of our club members won a "Top 20" award(not bad for an "open" show with nearly 300 cars), and then in the big doorprize drawings, my son (Trae1976) won a 350turbo transmission! We're gonna work with Trans shop that donated it and try to "swap" for a 700r to put in his C3.
And then, most exciting for me, I got to drive a ZR1!
:toothy8: I am still giddy with excitement! One of our club members has the car, and he allowed me to drive it, oh about 8 - 10 miles or so........about half on the Interstate.......and guys, everything you've read about this incredible machine is true, and then some. I've driven some pretty fast street machines in my day, but nothing, NOTHING, that I've ever driven comes close to the acceleration of that car once you get about 3k rpm and get the supercharger to take over. Smooth and violent at the same time, if you can get my drift. I'm still smiling and it may never go away!

Everyone have a great day!

Thanks for reminding me. I think I left a box of wings on my Corvettes rear deck.

Just found out someone stole my bowling ball. I've been bowdlerized.

Hey John Wayne Bobbitt ......... Been bowdlerized lately?
