i was walking through dick's sporting goods about a month ago and saw a bunch of skeet shooting accessories on sale so i said what the hell.. well then i couldn't really find anywhere to go shooting. well after a weird chain of events i ending up having to go up to new york this past weekend. i called up a 2 of my 4 brothers and my dad and we all went out shooting for about 3 hours. it was awesome!!! everyone got to shoot a bunch and we all went home with huge smiles on our faces. it was a first time for all of us but we caught on pretty quick.

I shot Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays for years. I loved it. Then I moved back to Maryland and ranges are few and far between.

Very cool! I had a boss years ago who was in a skeet-shooting club - he really enjoyed it.

Out here there are numerous clubs and a lot of money spent on high dollar shotguns and gear. I can do ok with a sawed off 10 guage. A lot of rural high schools have teams. It is something to do with the family.

I love shooting. I use a Wingmaster 870. It is for trap only, and will destroy some birds. My favorite game to play is Annie Oakley. We will put a few dollars in per round to make it more fun.

Here is how we play: You all line up (as many as you want, 3 minimum). The first shooter calls, if they miss and the second shooter hits. The first shooter is out. If the first 2 miss and the 3rd hits, then the first 2 are out. If you shoot out of turn, you are out. The 2nd shooter must fire, or they are out. The 3rd shooter has the option to fire or not. I always wait as long as possible to make it harder. I won around $65 dollars last time. It paid for the day, plus you won't go through as many shells this way either.

luckily for me my grandparents own 15 acres of open land so we have a wide open spot to go do whatever the hell we want. there use to be a range down the street here in myrtle beach that allowed shotguns but after the first of the year the changed their minds. but the trip to ny paid for itself and i got to have a really good time so it was well worth it in the end. i have a mossberg 12 gauge with a 18.5 inch barrel and we also used my dads winchester 16 gauge which had a 28 inch barrel.. my gun was much easier to learn on lol.

I'm a lousy wingshot. I do look forward to our club's monthly muzzleloader shoot. I build flintlock guns.

Thanks, my first attempt at wire inlay. I can't tell you how many hours I have in that gun. Long winter project. Shoots well. Note the homemade peep sight.
