Good Morning CGs!

Well, my body is a little beat up today. I am still tired. I worked for I'd guess a solid 10 hours on the car yesterday. 20 years of corrosion and neglect were not kind to me. I'm almost at the point where I can yank to motor and throw it on a stand. I'm excited. Damn bellhousing bolts are holding me up.

The HF air ratchet I bought last week worked great for the first 4 bolts I used it on. Then the seals blew when I tried to use it on the next one! POS. Don't buy those. Luckily I was able to borrow my neighbor's air ratchet and that worked well.

That's it for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Playing nurse totally disrupts the natural flow of events in the T-Bone household. Nothing is getting done. Maybe today I can squeeze in a few things. I have company coming next week. Better dry clean my tux so I'll be ready to play host. I figure I have to clean up around here before they come so there is little motivation to do much till the mad rush a couple of days before. Sue goes to the Dr on Monday for her surgical follow up. Her cast keeps her from doing too much. It's not a walking cast. A trainee is in the office. She has less than a week on the job. That makes for lots of phone calls during the day. I have to get going if I'm gonna get anything done.

I looked at the $32 CH at HD yeaterday, not too bad.

While I did but a HF die grinder for $4.99, I usually stay away from air and electric sutff there.

I'm up and around this morning, got the grandsons here. In a little while I get to take the youngest one to do the Easter egg hunt, then church at noon.

I don't have much planned for the day or the weekend. The weather is not quite as warm as it has been but not bad today, warmer tomorrow and Sunday.

I hope that you all have a great Good Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Howdy! I'm putzing around the house a bit before diving back into my tiling project. I guess I may as well knuckle down and get it over with. Nice, warm day here (but cloudy) - unfortunately will be spending it indoors.

Have a good one, all!

Weather here is great, got the top off and heading out to meet some Corvette buddies at Hooters in just a little bit.

Had a life-flight chopper land on the main hwy about 1/2 mile from the house this morning. Seems someone flipped their car (SUV) at the intersection where my road meets the highway. It is a bad intersection out here in the country, all 2 lane roads and a five point intersection. There are two-three bad wrecks there every year. Couple of years ago they had 3 helicopters land for just one wreck when a woman with a bunch of kids in her van pulled out in front of a truck and got broadsided.

Greetings, Gurus!

Gots lot of little things to do today, among those, arranging for a moving truck to clear some furniture from my aunt's house that is getting prepped to be sold.

We're going for my mom's bday tonight. Free steak dinner at Black Angus. =)

That's the one I'm gonna get. I also have the same die grinder, but it has worked like a champ. I figure since there was little to no torque actually applied to the rotating portion.

Your such a slaker. (like in slacker)

The Los Angeles slakers are the best at slaking in general.

My CH rachet's over 10 years old, works Ok.
Their 1/2 impact isn't that great, doesn't have the same power as better ones at the same psi.

I also have a CH air riveter (for pop rivets)that works very well, much better than a hand riveter.
