Takes awhile for me to get my body up and moving. The mind is willing but the body says otherwise. Must have been a bad alignment with Venus and Mars yesterday. The reknowned women are from Venus, men are from Mars thing kicked in around here. No matter what I said, something else was understood. WTF. Of course this resulted in more than one verbal altercation. Things have cooled down a bit around here today. She is taking Grandma shopping.

After an ugly day yesterday, I'm headed out to our AutoX to just hang out.
I did tell a couple guys I'd do their annual techs for the upcoming time trials.

The "Honey" do that list will start up again in about an hour. Now that the front landscaping is done its time to shop for carpeting for the living, dining and family rooms.
Saturday it was rain and windy. Put brakes on my 89 Chevy Truck and changed oil in it. Cleaned up the shop! Today its sunny and warm.

Greetings! The honey-do list just harpooned whatever non-plans I had for the day. Par for the course.

Had a good time at the wedding yesterday. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Right now working on fixing my BIL's computer again.

I planned to finish a 383 shortblock for forum member gws yesterday. 1/2 way through assembly, my buddies came over and yanked me out to go for a 100 mile motorcycle ride in the country. I went, and was glad I did. Cleared out the cobwebs, and fixed me up.
So, I just finished it up an hour ago, and am getting ready to start painting the dining room.

Pete,If I had a sweet bike like the one you have I would never be home, the wife would have to send out a search party for me.. ..WW

Had a good weekend so far. Rained on and off here today. Fixed the water heater put out my awning.

I just got back from taking the Vette to run an errand while my wife was out working in the garden. She said she could hear me for miles - LMAO!

I thought I'd just sit back and relax today. Key word being thought. Plumbing backed up in the kitchen sink. Disassembled the the pipes and checked the trap. Nope. Ran a snake from inside. Nope. Flushed water through the roof vent. Nope. Snaked the pipe through the roof. Victory. Good thing too. I only had about two feet of snake left when the clog broke free. Now I can resume my regular programming.

Its late.... I got home just a little while ago from an exhausting day at the track (see other thread)

I'm sunburned, car-less, and have to go back to work in the morning! I was hoping the weekend would just keep going and going and going....

I just got home from baseball tourney. They won the first game which put them in the 3:00 game...but they were running 1 1/2 hours behind. They lost that one which put them into the 6:30 game, by then they were almost 2 hours behind. They played and lost 6-3, game over at 9:45. jumped in the pickup and headed home. Dropped off the daughter and grandson and came on home...got here at midnight.

I got to head to bed.
