Good Morning CGs!

We never got the 3-5 inches they said before, we got nothing. Today we are supposed to get 1-2 and it's already snowing a little bit. We will have a heat wave high of 29 today. Yeah!

Today is my last work day before the weekend. I have a little Christmas party to go to after work so that should be interesting. Not a big drinker when I got out to these things, usually I won't have anything if I'm driving. One won't kill me, but I usually stop after that.

I still have to stop and get one gift certificate for the wife for Xmas, but that's about it. I'll get that done tomorrow. Does everyone else have their shopping done?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Folks!
Happy Friday Eve!

Well, we're headed to NC tomorrow for Christmas, and will be back after New Years. Looking forward to going home and seeing the family. Looks like we'll be moving back there for good sometime in Feb! Scheduled to sign offer letter and go back to work at my old job of 20yrs. Our decision to keep the house when we came out west was the best decison we've ever made!
Should be an interesting trip... We're driving, and taking our 2 Golden Retrievers along for the trip. Let's see..Mom/Dad/Little Girl and 2 big dogs...and 1100 miles...Should be interesting to say the least!!
Going to stop somewhere around the halfway point tomorrow evening and finish up the drive Saturday. Tomorrow is our 23'rd anniversary, so we'll definitely have plenty of 'together time'

Hope everyone has a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Howdy! We got a smidgen of snow overnight, not sure how much more is coming. Can't do much about it, anyway. On the bright side, nobody has called to ruin my day. Yet.

Sounds like an adventure David. Congrats on your anniversary hope the roads are good for your travels!

Woke up and it rained last night so everything is a sheet of ice. I thought TeeBee was sending us some of that good Kansas weather. Probably has to do with us leaving the Big 12. Good day to clean off my desk and get ready for the new year.

Easy does it Guru's!

I hope the weather improves for your trip David. We also had a bit of freezing rain yesterday just in time for the rush hour traffic. Most of the interstates ended up getting closed or backed up for hours. It took my wife over 2 1/2 hrs to get home, normally about 1/2 hr drive.
There were over 1,000 accidnents in a four hour span, but at least there were no fatalities reported.

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

"In honor of this holy season," Saint Peter said, "you must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The man from Canada fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle", he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates", Saint Peter said.

The man from Italy reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "They're bells."

Saint Peter said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."

The Texan started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of womens panties.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"

The Texan replied, "These are Carols."

And So The Christmas Season Begins...

Morning guys (barely)....it's been a busy morning here. I'm working on a special Christmas project for my drafting class, and have been running around getting checks to people here at school from a fundraiser that our mens group at church raised.

David have a safe journey and congrats on the anniversary. Yea, Marcus, I have that kind of power. Ron, you sound an awful like someone I know..... Matt, take it easy at that Xmas party.
