Recently on the other forum I posted an article on how to make your own intake grill screen. Here is how I did mine:

Resized Image

A closer look:

Resized Image

I bought an aluminum screen for rain gutter, can of high temp flat black paint, 2 self tapping screws with washers, and 2- 6" black cable zip ties. My 94 measured 27" across the top opening and 28" across the bottom. Total cost of the parts at HomeDePot was less than $8.00 and about 20 minutes of time.

This does help keep twigs, leaves, and other road debris out of the radiator opening.

I saw that article. If I remember correctly, you're 17 yrs. old. Hats off to your ingenuity and desire to correct an inherent design flaw.

That doesn't keep it out of the radiator though does it?

The real trick, is GM left a 1" gap under the a/c condensor. This is where all the leaves/bags get sucked in by the fan. I sealed this area off with some heavy duty weatherstripping and haven't had a problem since. Surely the car gets a little less airflow than it could, but still more than it would with a bunch of trash bags / roofing shingles / dead animals / leaves, stuck on there.

Thanks C4DERF for posting this thread,
it inspired me to get mine done yesterday.
I've had the screen now for over two months.
I don't like to rush into things.
