Short on sleep. We are heading out for a family breakfast. The 928 is in my yard. Arrived yesterday afternoon. Went to a Blues, Brew and BBQ last evening at a local county park. A good time was had by all. Later!

Good Morning CGs!

I don't believe it arrived, Thomas, if I don't see any pictures!

My son decided it would be a good idea last night to grab a chunk of hot lasagna off my wife's dinner plate and burned his hand in the process. My wife was flipped out, but oh well. Kids do things like that. We have some prescription burn cream for him and will keep it bandaged and medicated. That's all you can do. No reason to lose sleep over it.

I couldn't fall asleep last night, though, because I was thinking about my exhaust...should I weld it, should I clamp it, how will this fit, how should I clean this up...lol. It's an obsession.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Going to spend a little time in the garage working on my back up trans, then do a bit of datalogging. Hopefully, I get Mick some good info for the next round of tuning.
Packing a suitcase is in the plans too. Off to Philly, New Hampshire, Mass, North Carolina and Georgia this week.

IF I get around to it, I'll grout the tile on the final piece of backsplash. Then I only have the floor to do to be done.

Matt, I have that same exhaust system....but, it's sitting in my shed....and I don't dream about it.

Good morning! Yes, pics of the 928 are mandatory. And hopefully a good lesson learned by Matt's young'n without too much pain. I have the exhaust off of my car again - gonna put the stock cat-back on. I will have to patch a few things together and get a little welding done.

Have a great day!

Morning Guys.....I've been up and been to church already this morning and have taken the family out for breakfast. The daughter is meeting with a social worker to figure out what's going on and what to expect. SIL is in the psych ward for at least a week, not sure what's happening after that. It's going to be a tough week for the daughter. It's time to rely on her support system at work. It's middle granddaughters' birthday today, kind of bittersweet without her daddy.

We head for home later, once the daughter gets home from her meeting...in the mean time we are watching the grandkids. Have a great day.

I join others in wanting to see pictures of the 928.

Drove the parents to a different church today, in Philadelphia instead of the suburbs. So, I'm hanging out in my office until they finish.

Had another meeting about the Wildwood Regional yesterday. We're over 320 attendees and 110 cars, with 75 of those cars being flight judged. No cars being judged in the 1953-1955 class (which is somewhat expected), but also no cars in the 1984-1989 class (somewhat unexpected).

Afternoon Guru's! Matt they wanted to weld my system all up but that made me start to itch so I said weld some of it and clamp the others and that's what I did. I want to remove it when I want without cutting it out. At that point I did not know if I would like it or hate it.

Went to church then back for some lunch and then out to wash and start the cleanup of the car. It filthy. Got some strange little creaks and noises coming from underneith which I am sure is just the new parts getting worked in. I had the rear end lube changed and they put in the GM stock replacement but I think only one can of additive. I did get some rear end clunks when I first took a tight corner but none since.

I am keeping an eye on everything till it's all broke in.

Have a good Sunday guys!

It's been a good day.
I got backsplash done.

Drivin' down the hill to Home D, I saw 2 C2's and a C1.

Stopped at the casino and won $520.

Picked up a Dungeness crab and a good bottle of Chardonnay for tonite.

Bill, you might not have the best choice in women, but do you have to be so derogatory?

LT4 resonator and mufflers with pipes. Need to fit it all, not sure when that will happen.

Outstanding day, Bill! I got my exhaust back together, don't think it will need any welding.

Meanwhile.....

A husband and wife are on the 9th green when suddenly she collapses with a heart attack!

"Help me dear," she groans to her husband.

The husband calls 911 on his cell phone, talks for a few minutes, picks up his putter and lines up his putt.

His wife raises her head off the green and stares at him.

"I'm dying here and you're putting?"

"Don't worry dear," says the husband calmly, "they found a doctor on the second hole and he's coming to help you.

"Well, how long will it take for him to get here?" she asks feebly.

"No time at all," says her husband. "Everybody's already agreed to let him play through."

Yeah Bill, I'm thinking you should just go into full time gaming. Everytime you go in there you come out with money. Of course you do have a C2 so that means your lucky anyway......just saying....

Yea, Tommy I've been hot lately but over the long run ???????????

The smart thing to do with winnings is to spend it or bank it. Never take it back in.

Marcus, I not lucky to have a C2, I'm smart to have kept it and it's #4 C2 for me. I'm dumb for selling the other 3.

The crap thing is that I have to spend these winnings on a kitchen floor.

Then I'm going back to the casino to fund C2 parts, probably loose. At least the beer's free.

Made it home....stopped at the wife's folks house on the way home to tell them what had happened and fill them in. My wife didn't want to do it in a phone call, but needed to do it in person. My wife's sister and her husband (they live local) and two of their daughters were there as well to lend moral support. My wife wasn't sure how they would take it (they are in their mid 80's and old school Catholic). I thought they would take the news very well, which they did and didn't surprise me at all.

It was a huge load off my wife to let them know.

It will be back to the grind tomorrow. My wife has to go to Wichita tomorrow for three days of meetings, so she just changes a few clothes in her bag and heads back out.

I have a ton of things to do guys, I'll check in tomorrow.

I took it kinda easy today... had a lazy morning. Did some shopping - needed a new filter for the shop vac.

Came home and then headed back out to volunteer at the car museum. They were having their monthly swing band and a 50th bd party. All in all, rather quiet. The party folks didn't seem all that interested... sometimes they are, other times, not so much.
