well i got a homemade card also which i like very much. i give store bought cards cause i dont know how to make cards. we got 3 in of snow last nite. it melting pretty fast though. had 2 kids come by last nite and wanted to shovel the drive for 5 bucks. dont see kids out trying to hustle a buck much anymore. i was impressed. have a good day gurus.

I guess I am the head brown noser. For the past 15 years I have given a red rose to every woman on my school campus.
I am at a new school this year so my count is 93 roses.I have my students pull a wagon and go from class to office and the cafateria. I got some crap sick as a dog but this is too important! Steve  |

Morning guys...I am hoping the necklace I bought for my wife shows up today, if not I'm in deep water. Check yesterdays chat for what I got done on the bath last night, it will explain why my arse is dragging.
I guess we'll see how the kids are in a little bit. Valentine Day, probably be a zoo. Metals/Auto teacher and I were talking yesterday about how fast this year is going, it's middle of February already, P-T conferences this week and spring break looming upon us. Have a great day guys. |

I hope that crud doesn't come around here. I haven't been right since the last crud went around. Wifety and I said no cards, no gifts. Her present to me was two mango trees. She's treating herself to a couple of trees too. 7 years ago I gave her the 87 911 for Valentines Day. I told her that would cover many gift giving events to come. Fortunately for us we can get what we want when we want it (within reason) so we don't wait for special occasions to get ir give gifts.Today is gorgious outside. Mid 50's to high 70's. I have to get all the critters out of the house and back into the patio area. They spent a few days in because of the mid 40's temps. 10 tortoises .......Out! ......... 4 birds ...... Out! The parrolette pair has three eggs. Maybe my flock will be growing. Kitty is still nodding his head from the after effects of yesterdays nuttering. Maybe I can get a piercer to hook him up with a pair of sterling silver balls. ........... I just might be onto something. Pet piercing supplies. Oh look at that kitties earings. Isn't that cute. Oh look! Those dogs are wearing nail polish. Check out the tatoo on that birs beak. Awesome! |

The crud has arrived in Ohio ! My sinuses went crazy Sunday night. Feeling somewhat better today.
As for Valentine's day, not doing the card and flowers thing. Taking the little blind woman out to a nice dinner tonight, reservation is for 6:30. I hope the dog (guide dog that is) behaves himself. He has a streak of kleptomania in him. |

Good Afternoon CGs!
I was busy with the kids this morning and some tasks around the house. #1 is at school now and #2 is napping so I have a few free minutes. I'd like to get a quick workout in. My wife had a task for me today, so drill some holes in the new furniture drawer faces and install some knobs. NBD, I can do that. She told me everything you need is in this bag. So I measured/marked/drilled etc...go to install the knobs, no hardware. I dig through my stash of bolts, I have 1", I need 1 1/4". Darn it. So at least the holes are all done, I'll stop by the hardware store later. No plans for Valentine's Day, it's a made up holiday to me. Maybe I'll bake some cookies. Hope no one gets any VD for VD Matthew |

Nice day today, windows down in the C4, no jacket, the kids were wearing shorts.
Tomorrow - 38 degrees max., 5 inches of snow. Thurs - 50 degrees Fri - 58 dergees it's fun livin' here. |

Hand painted wainscoting, Bill, not wall paper. And the trim is the same stain as my cabinetry. Marcus, the floor is Mannington Adura . It is about a strong 1/8" thick tile with a hardened surface, much like ceramic tile. Much easier to lay. Can be laid with or without a grout line. We laid it with a 1/8" grout line.
