That's it Tommy.....it could always be worse...Had a nice rain yesterday, we got about a 1/2 inch but some places had more. This morning it is cool and fresh and sparkling out. Crops get more push from rain then from the irrigation water. The reasons have been debated for years but rain has things that ground water doesn't.....thought you'd like to know....

Tom looks like some storms east of you in Kansas did you guys get any of that?

You guys have a safe day.......

Howdy! Looks like a nice day here, finally. The kitchen cabinets should be done today, so I can get started painting and a few other odds and ends.

Regarding jock strap dude. There is no time limit on revenge. Of course shooting the guy was over the top. Why didn't he just sneak up and put a jock strap over his targets head? Now that would have been payback.

Heroin mom is no heroine

I posted spear in the head dude two days ago under "body piercing" but it's good to give people an opportunity to read it.

That revenge story makes me think back to when I was a kid and a bunch of guys shook me down for a quarter. I knew who those mother f@(%ers were. I didn't have an older brother to kick some serious ass. I wanted to pull A Whitey Bulger on their ass. (Whitey was a bad guy from Boston)

Morning all. Trying to get life back to normal after a screaming six months (as in screamingly busy!). going to run a few errands today 'under the work radar'.

Re-started my exercise regime this morning - loosely based on the 'easy setting' on P90X. I'm not getting any younger so it's hurting a little. Those guys are insane.

Weather is warming up here in Ga and I saw 97 on the dash yesterday. Still feels cool overnight though which is nice because the A/C isnt cranking all night.

I'm also putting the finishing touches to the tune on 'zilla. Needed to re-tweak the VE tables because after installing the wideband I realize that mid-throttle was far too rich, and gentle throttle (i.e. in traffic) far too lean. Gonna ride in it with the datalogger to run my errands today and enjoy scaring old ladies and small children and mustangs.

Take care gurus!

Morning guys...It is going to be cool today. Right now it is a very comfortable 65, only 82 for a high. Marcus, we got a sprinkle from all that, at about 3:30 am this morning.

How can people do that to their own kids? I guess misery loves company, eh? Amazing that you hold a grudge that long.

Not much planned here today. Rest the knee a bit more, it feels better today, but there is still some pain when I move in certain ways (yea, I know, don't move in those ways).

Took the day off to work on the car. Wife doesn't like that idea, so we are going to the zoo. Figures. I told her this afternoon I'll work on my car, though. We'll see. I love being married.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning from (For me anyway) Philadelphia.....Where its always Sunny in Philadelphia...well into the 90's and the humidity is merely 64% as compared to what fely like 80% yesterday....you get sweat soaked just sitting still!

The reason its morning for me @ 1 in the afternoon is I was on Racoon watch....again. The rat bastard tore up the whole neighborhood's trash ...again. So I set the live trap and baited with ground beef....again. This time, I got him! About 30 pounds worth! I don't know how he squeezed into the trap! The rest aint pretty....involves guns, bloodshed, funerals, mass graves...not really of course. Simply 1 finally dead suburban rat. You're welcome neigbhors. No need to Thank me.....but A cold beer and a handshake might be nice. Lets see if he was an only child or if his littermates will take over his turf. For now, Finally, Joy in Muddville!

On the Corvette side of things. The Message Service Active Handling Soon keeps coming up. I checked the codes and they were C1277H and C1288H. I cleared them and only the C1288H code returns after a short period (maybe a mile) of driving.
This message disappears if I shutdown and restart the car. I cleared the code again and tried a suggestion from THAT forum. Went to an empty parking lot and locked the steering wheel in both directions several dozen times. This seems to keep the code away for at least 10 miles of driving. If I cleaned and worked a sensor connection somewhere between the steering wheel and the wheels, Anybody know which one or ones and is there a possibility that they could be cleaned properly TO RID THE PROBLEM!

Thanks,
Alan

There was a bit of confusion at the store this morning. When I was ready to pay for my groceries, the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."

Making a mental note to complain to my congressman about Homeland Security running amok, I did just as she had instructed.

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

That guy is weird

One time the cashier said; Produce? So he did.

Another time she asked him; Paper or plastic? The guy looked confused as he passed her the Charmin.

There was a small gathering of classic cars in the park across the street from the office today - a co-worker snapped a few pics. This weekend there will be about 11,000 of them at the fairgrounds for the Minnesota Street Rod Association's annual shindig:

Geez Alan way to go.....you should get him stuffed and put him on your wall....maybe a small diarama with him looking up from a trash can with a MacDonalds box hanging out of his mouth......quite a conversation starter that would be.

I got one that lives on cat food that is going to suffer the same fate one of these days.....next time take some pics of him in the cage......did you shoot him in the cage? Geez that's cold......I thought you'd give him a sporting chance to run for it while you drew a bead on him........lol....
