Grab life by the reigns. It's still gonna drag you all over the place but at least you'll have something to hold onto.

Road trip mojo TBee, how'd the dance turn out? Slept in a bit and now goofing off. I have some things to do like hang an 80 lb mirror for Uwoman. then we have to mow the 40 acres of lawn we got.....ok its only about 1 acre but it seems like 40.....after that we stay out of the heat.

Had some great numbers on my blood test yesterday. My HDL and LDL ratio was as good as it ever has been and the doc wanted to know what I have been doing different and I told him lots of oatmeal and coconut oil. He gave me the look and I said hey whatever works.....

Have some fun Guru's.....it's the weekend.

Good Morning CGs!

Had some nasty rainstorms last night including hail. Grass and flowers needed the water, though.

Have a wedding to attend today for one of my wife's younger cousins. RR#1 is the flower girl and this is her first wedding (there will be many, many more, trust me) so it's kind of a big deal for us. It will be an all day affair. I need to get a quick workout in and then get ready to go

Worked on the superram last night. I layed it out and marked it for porting, it's actually a lot better than I thought it was. I started with knocking down a couple casting ridges and using a sanding cone on the ports...then I decided it was a waste of time. Unless I really went crazy with it I see no benefit to the minor port work I was planning. So I'm leaving it as it it. I did assemble it on the bench though. Those damn bolts on the bottom sure are a PIA like everyone says. I am replacing them with allen cap bolts. In fact, I am replacing every bolt on the intake with stainless steel. I have to order those soon.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Damage from last night's storm was much worse than I thought. Drove through the neighborhood and there are trees snapped in half, huge pines uprooted from the ground. Didn't see too much damage to houses, but I didn't see everything. ComEd was out there fixing some lines, too. Crazy.

High predicted to be close to 110*F here today. I had to run an errand down to Atlanta this morning and found out that top down and AC on worked out very nicely. But coming back it was already 95*F so I put the top back up. The AC in this car is amazing, I would swear it could make ice cubes. The rest of today will be inside and relaxing.

Howdy! First day of "staycation" has been busy so far. Slept in, mowed the lawn, swept the garage, now off to HD for some fertilizer and lumber. Maybe we'll go to a car show tonight if it isn't too stinkin' hot out.

Have a good day, everyone!

Dodged a bullet gang. The C5 just needed a computer reflash. A Factory update. All is well, no more 1288 code.

This afternoon off to a graduation party for my son and his Cousins. Its gonna be a hot one....its quarter to 5 and its still 101* in the shade. It will be hard to drink beer in this weather....

Evening guys. It was a long drive today. My #1 gs drove for the first 4 1/2 hours. He is just learning to drive and must log 50 hours before he can get his restricted license. He did a pretty good ,job, but after his stint he was tired. So I did the last 2 hours.

We spent the evening at #2 daughter's house with all the grands playing in the pool.

I'm beat and headed for bed.
