Good Morning Guru Nation....its cooler outside and that's good news.....going to do some work today and goof off some. Yesterday it was 102 degrees and windy which was brutal. So sick of it. It was supposed to bring rain but guess what...it didn't.
Got in my lifting jacks for the GS which will make it easy to hit the right spot for getting the car up in the air when needed. Have a good day Guru's.....  |

Good Morning CGs!
So I heard a rumor. If you don't set your alarm at night before you go to bed, you won't wake up on time and you will be late for work. Now this is just a rumor that I heard and I can't confirm that. Maybe someone else who has personal experience with that recently can chime in  Yeah, it's a nasty day out. Lots of rain and thunder right now. I don't know how the rest of the day will be. Marcus - those look like stout pieces. Are they billet aluminum? At first glance at the picture I thought it was another coffee table for Andy Hope everyone has a great (and punctual) day! Matthew |

Yes lifting jack pads or pucks is the right terminology and they are billet Alumn. They slip into slots in the frame and then you turn them to hold them in place and then put the jack or lift under them....Bill informed me of them when I first got the car....60 bucks for the set.

Howdy! I must be getting old - after a few days with the Corsa exhaust on the Vette again, it is just annoyingly loud. I'll have to figure something else out, I guess. Meanwhile, it looks like a nice day out there, but it is getting darker every morning. Only 8 more months until I don't need to turn a light on to find my way downstairs again.

If it's too loud you're too old....or so Joe's postings say...I am suprised the Corsas are too loud....maybe if you took them off your C4 and put them on the Grand Sport it wouldn't be so bad....

Got another stretch of the porch floor done. I went ahead and ordered the rest of it so we will have it all done this fall. I was reminded that we have a graduation coming up this spring, soooo I better get it done now.

Morning guys...I'm a cheap azz Marcus, I made my own jacking pucks. If I could get to my Photobucket account I'd post some pictures.
 I don't remember, Brad, did you put LT headers on your car? That would make a difference in the sound of those Corsas. Marcus, your deck is looking good (I know it's a porch, but that doesn't allow for the posting of the video as well )So, Matt, how late were you? |

Well got the septic pumped out - good
toilet still wouldn't flush - bad Can't get the inspection port of the 60 yo stack - back Who ever installed the tank put an inspection port on it - good They managed to power snake out the main line to the tank (filled with roots) - good Now I can flush that 2 liters of pee! VERY GOOD! |

Ok Guru's I need your help....I have this 89 triple black C4 that I have been working on to get it ready for sale. It has 88K on it. The Bose is shot, at least the speakers. The interior is below average in my book but I got it looking as good as it can. The top is in good shape. The tires are old and it rides rough because of it. Its an A4 and seems to shift ok.
The car runs well and I got the paint looking decent. I'm thinking the fluids are stock as are the brakes.....body has a few nicks and dings.... What's it worth. The owner wants to ask 7500.00 which I think is high. I sold my 90 which was in great shape with only 60K miles for 8500.00. I am thinking 5,000 bucks and run to the bank. What do you think?  |
