Word of the Day Thursday, March 28, 2013. pharaonic\ fair-ey-ON-ik, far- \, adjective; 1. (usually lowercase) impressively or overwhelmingly large, luxurious, etc.: a construction project of pharaonic proportions. 2. (sometimes lowercase) of or like a Pharaoh: living in Pharaonic splendor. 3. (lowercase) cruelly oppressive; tyrannical: pharaonic tax laws. Origin: Pharaonic's root can be traced back to the Egyptian pr-ʿo , literally meaning "great house." While the noun Pharaoh entered the language though Old English, English speakers didn’t use this particular adjectival form until the late eighteenth century.

Webmaster SW Chicago Burbs 22805 Posts Member since: 2008/1/7 0:00	Good Morning CGs! Supposed to be 46* here today, so that's a nice thing. A few degrees warmer in the upcoming days, as well. Lots of kids on spring break this week, so the traffic driving to work should be nice and light. I could get used to that. It should be spring break year round I dropped the trans cooler bracket off at the local powdercoater yesterday. Guy said to do it in satin black to hide any imperfections...I said, it's a hidden bracket, but ok. $15 should be ready within a week or sooner. I also picked up a replacement battery yesterday. I was astounded at the price increase. I got a good deal, but the price still went up $25 since I bought the last one 6 years ago. Guy said they did increase a lot. Oh well. I bought an interstate STR-75 / heavy duty version. Hopefully I can keep this one longer without the battery tender killing it. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

They've updated the forecast for next week's Twins home opener - 33 degrees with a 17mph wind. Plenty of seats available. I should have my battery checked when I pull the Vette out of storage - I'm sure it is living on borrowed time as I think it is from 2005. That's more like moronic...... The weather is finally very nice maybe 60 here today. The work will be non stop soon and my back is already needing the bone cruncher after throwing some stuff around yesterday.....nuts! Hope its nice for Easter so I can get the GS out and have some fun with it a least. May have to charge the battery a bit but that should be it. Matt do you still have to drop your tranny and get it fixed or did that happen already? Can't remember where you are in the process..... Gotta go....have an interesting day Guru's.....and let's be careful out there today....

I wish more kids were home schooled. Like all of them. I have to go drop a ladder off to sonny boy, stop by the grocery store for some N/A beer and dessert for game night, tonight. Then I will resume weeding the yard. It's part of my spring clean up. After weeding, I have a $#!+load of mulch to pick up and spread. Sis, bro in law and maybe Mom will be coming down next weekend. Want to make everything purdy.

Chair-man of the bored Homestead USA 33766 Posts Member since: 2007/12/10 0:00	Just got back from reviewing video recorded at the nursery last night. We had two intruders come in around 12:40 AM. We got up, got dressed and called the cops. Then waited about 20 minutes for the cops to show up there. I was able to make out from the video that one of the intruders had long matty hair, the other was short haired and had a stubby tail. I walked the fenceline and placed some blocks in the only area I suspect they could have got in. Nothing was taken and the cats scattered for their own safety.
