Good morning gang.

Snowing here today. It is forcasted that we get about another inch or two by the end of the day but I'll believe that when I see it. Temps should be in the teens most of the day.

Back to work today for me. I'm off tomorrow though. Gotta love these one day work weeks.

Well lets get the day started.

Word of the Day Thursday, January 02, 2014

punnet\ PUHN-it \, noun;

1. a small container or basket for strawberries or other fruit.

Origin:

Punnet is of unknown origin. It arose in the early 1800s.

Ahhh...no matter how gloomy it is out there today with more snow coming, Huskerland is still feeling the warm glow of the victory yesterday.....all is right with our world....

In the game yesterday one reason we won is we forced the other team to punnet the football all the time.....arr arr arr....

It is back to work and I am getting ready to face the new year. Time to go sell stuff to farmers.

It is ugly outside like I said as we move into the guts of winter......still a long time till catchers and pitchers have to report for spring training.....

Everybody have a good year this coming year and lets be carefull out there......

Mornin

I was awakened at 01:30 AM by one of the 4 legged critters that sought a brief trip outdoors. Try as I might to fall back asleep, I could not. At 03:00 I took a couple of ibuprophen tablets and benodryl capsule, and by 03:15 I was back in the land of nod. 06:30 came an I was still not prepared to greet the new day. I managed an extra hour and figured that would suffice. I can now make it through the day with the sleep I pieced together. Fatigue can screw up my day more than almost any other issue outside of illness. (and telephone calls). I'm sure a nice hot shower will put me back in the drivers seat and in command of my destiny. Today my destiny looks to be some time in the yard and inside the house. The warmth of the morning sun is certainly an omen of the heat that will engulf us by mid day. Then it will be a pleasure to enjoy the efficiency of our 4 ton air conditioner as we are surrounded by near record high temperatures for the month of January.

3 guys go for dinner, each buys a $10 steak. At the end of the meal, they collect $30 between the three of them to cover the cost of the meals and gives it to the waitress. She goes back to the cash register, where the overlooking manager says "Those dinners are discounted, you need to give them $5 back." So the waitress gets the five dollars, and returns to the table. Not knowing how to split $5 between the three of them, she gives 1 dollar to each of the three patrons, and kept two for herself.

Now if you do the math, together they paid $30, got $3 back meaning they only paid $27. The waitress kept $2. This totals $29. Where did the last dollar go?

Daaannnggg that's some cool stuff in that Epic win compilation video!
Everyone must have figured I'm back in the office today - people won't leave me alone - people calling for goofy stuff when I'm in the middle of about $8,000 worth of stuff and was hoping not to be interrupted for $20 stickers...
Weather cold here too, I'm soooo ready for summer to come back...

Today's lesson was:

1. put on extremely dirty, dusty clothes
2. put on a dirty respirator
3. smear sticky yellow shit on the fenders

Then,......nevermind, I'm gonna puke.

DAMMIT TOMMY, this makes my brain hurt every time see it.

So they paid $30. The manager keeps $25 and gives the waitress $5. The waitress then keeps $2 and gives the customers $3. So, $25 for the manager, plus $3 for the customers, plus $2 for the waitress equals $30.

Now I think it is naptime.

Why bother to put them away? You're just gonna get them out again.

My dresser and closet are full of Corvette parts.

Hey guys...I been at it since early. I went to school and did my workout, then to Rosies' office to fix a couple things there. Pick up another little job. Delivered the computer I was working on. And now working on a little kitchen remodel job. Another counter top to order/build and modify a cabinet. Today I'm working on the cabinet.

Got to run. Oh, it's turned out pretty nice here today, close to 50.

Nope - that ain't natural - on the subject of women in compromising positions - I now am designing a trailer wrap for a store here called "Seductions" - they have 6 in the state - sex lingerie, toys, perfume, shoes, purses and all that. And I must keep it 'kid friendly yet draw attention from across a parking lot..." How am I supposed to do THAT?
Have you any idea how many nudes I've looked at today and been paid to do so? I'm more interested in the tastefully seductive - but you get them all and I have the 'safe search' on even so as to NOT see the nekkid ones....
