After work last night we took RR#1 to a reading night at school where a local author was promoting her new book. Got to purchase the book and have it signed and then the author read it to the kids. She enjoyed it. Right after that we went out to dinner for BIL's bday. As we were sitting there, a big shocker was my mom and dad randomly walked in. Especially random since they live 300 miles away and didn't know we were eating there. They came out to handle some personal business in town and the restaurant we like is next to their hotel. So we all enjoyed a nice meal and some birthday cake. Ordered a new LCD panel to replace the cracked one. I invited the guy who owns the website I purchased it from to come over and check out CG. Hopefully he makes it over. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

That means I must get all in readiness. I have to get a windshield for my Yukon. Caught a pebble. The windshield is cracking up the drivers side post. Of course it's not covered since I no longer carry comp and collision on my 15 y/o SUV. Dogs need to get their licenses and shots and I'm sure there are other things that haven't worked their way to the front of my brain yet. That's more than enough to keep me busy today. Up, up, and away ............

Other parts of the metro area got 9-10", and out west of here they got 12-15". Spring has sprung. Somewhere. Have a good day, yawlz!

It's winter here and we are caught up so I gave the guys the day off and told them see you Monday...when I look out the window it could be January not April....I thought April was a spring month.....must be global warming..... Uwoman celebrated her birthday yesterday.....I sent flowers up to the school and got her a card and then I lit a fire in the fireplace and we watched Castle reruns as the storm raged around us.....ya we know how to live out here on the great American desert.... We have decided to purchase some long term care policies through Uwomans NEA teachers union. After checking around it seems to be the best deal going but can't believe the hoops that you have to go through to get the deal done. Any of you guys got long term care policies? Think I will DNFBS out in the shop today working on my Corvette.....I love my Corvette.....I love your Corvettes....its April love..... Have a day of joy and amazement Guru's......

It's been a busy and crazy morning already, but kinda slow in sales, HOpefully things will pick up in the afternoon. That bacon costume was real, wasn;t it - not a photochop? LOL! Some of those pics were scary. While baking yesterday, I was watching Mysteries at the Museum (love this show), and they talked about thr blue people of Kentucky. Wow - I had never heard about that before! Have you? I'm on my iPad so not very good at pasting links, otherwise I'd try to find something about it.
