Title sez it all. I guess we're all haunted by our own demons. Sadly, in the end, his were stronger than he was. Funny guy, excellent actor, terrible loss.

I enjoyed his contribution. Sadly I've known many like him. Hell, it could happen to me. His legacy will live on for a long time to come unlike mine.

He will be missed.

Turned out to be a very very good actor. Never got the chance to see him live. MOJO to his family.

Belushi, Candy, Williams among others......all very funny people who had a complete other side that the public rarely saw...very sad ending for a very funny man.

I saw this quote from him, pretty profound:

“I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.”

it is a shame... so much at his disposal, yet he still could not overcome his demons.

He will be missed... sorely missed...

One of the few celebrity deaths that actually means something. A great but troubled talent, who leaves an epic legacy of drama and humour.

lost another just today....
Lauren Bacall.... the grim reaper needs to give it a rest a while...

very sad indeed that one can have everything some dream of yet still be in a dark place in life. Material posessions, children, loving wife, what could possibly be the problem you would wonder...?

Chemical imbalance? Brain development? The outside looks normal on the clock but for some reason it's not ticking right. For some of us, that's normal. Lights are on but nobody's home.
