Webmaster SW Chicago Burbs 22805 Posts Member since: 2008/1/7 0:00	Good Morning CGs! So how many people are keeping up with their New Year's resolutions of eating better and working out? Quitting smoking? Anything else? No resolutions for me. As I've said before, if I think something is important enough to change, I just do it, I don't wait for some magical date to start. Gotta drop RR#2 off at school and then take wifey's car to Nissan to have something looked at. After getting the remote start installed, the installer (top notch guy) said the previous owner's alarm messed up the wiring and was fixed improperly. He could fix it for $ but since I have a certified preowned with a warranty, they can fix it. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

The Christmas decorations got packed away yesterday, so it's time to start the countdown to our Puerto Vallarta trip next month. Since we'll have a high of 0 on Sunday, that can't come too soon. Getting real lazy over the break. Not too bad this morning, low 20's headed for low 30's, but it is supposed to maybe bring in some snow.

Got the word this morning that my new toy is shipping from NYC today and should be here by Tuesday. Stay tuned. Current weather conditions, 30 heading for a blistering high of 35 today.

I do need to lose weight... lots of weight... and it won't be pleasant!! But it must be done. I am sick and tired of being fat and tired all the time. For those that watched the Rose Parade, or the Rose Bowl, we are rather close, about 35 miles south of Pasadena. You ask, "why don't you go?" Well, we have been to the game. That's rather easy... but the parade? Well, think about this... There are well over 100k people, lined up along Colorado, who get there the night before to claim their spot. Then... you have to sit through an entire 3 hour long parade!!! Finally... you have to fight traffic of those going to the game and those trying to simply get home... We DVR it. Now, off to do the clutch in my 92....

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way. Went over and worked on the A/C at the rental house. The tray, drop and pump were all full of slimy goop. Cleaned everything up. That ought to stop the dripping. Went over to Popi's house yesterday and helped him make room in his garage for his Corvette. He had the place packed. We got one side of his two car garage cleared so he now has a place to park out of the elements. Still looking at Suburbans but not aggressively. When the deal comes along I'll know it. Anybody ever used cargurus.com before? I used cars.com and autotrader.com but like the layout and information on cargurus. Pretty cool.

She passed some bonehead that was doing 20 mph while texting. The cop pulled her over and said "I remember we had an issue a few years ago. If you don't like it, take me to court." Sue's on her way to the Police station to talk to his boss and give him an ear full. This cop always rolls through the stop sign in front of the nursery. Guess I'll have to put a camera into action and show his boss how unsafe a driver he is. One of my neighbors has pending lawsuits against him, his department, IA and the States Attorney in connection with some of his antics. Nobody likes this guy. On top of everything, he lives right down the street. Idiot.

City of Homestead The county guys go after flagrant stuff. The state guys like the traps. They pretty much mine the same stretches of roadway on a routine basis.
