Good Morning CGs!
Yesterday we had some friends come over for a BBQ and then I worked late into the evening on a new wooden timber border for the wife's garden. I had already dug out most of it (the hard part) so I just had to level it, lay the timbers, and stake them. I got the two bottom rows done, I just have to finish cutting and nailing the top tonight. Then I have to backfill the voids and put some grass back. I also decided that I need to surface mount an irrigation/watering system on the fence that will water the garden. So that will be my next project coming up. Still no progress on the car. Seals and bearing are in, I need to get to my friend's shop to use his press to rebuild it. Hope everyone has a great day! I cleaned up the garage some, put in some shelves and rack storage. Had to quit around 4:00 to step next door for a small BBQ party. Mechanic has been dragging his feet on the 91. I told him "No pressure" because we have other vehicles to drive but methinks he's not too crazy about delving into it. I can understand. Car wiring and electronics diagnosis sucks 5x worse than plumbing. Have a pleasurable day lady and gentlemen. |

Morning guys...alarm went off, I hit the snooze button for the first time in years. I'm sitting with the kids today. Grandma has to work today. Started her summer schedule today, working every other day, so each weekend is a three day weekend.
I still need to go to school and finish up my time. I might do that later with the grandson I'm watching. Waiting for materials so I can start on some cabinets. |

+1 for sleeping in.. I hit the snooze twice today. Usually I'm up before it goes off. Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. Mine was only 2 days - helped sand the side of a quad cab Sierra Friday get ready for paint. Paint didn't match. Redo yesterday. Shit. Then come home finished working on ghetto pool with some help from a really sweet guy bless his heart getting roped into that mess. Did nothing Saturday but loaf around hit a flea market or two in My car, then I met his pets - nursing home duty Sunday then back home to do my lawn mowing, etc. Trying to get some weekend plans made and hopefully head out of town to celebrate - will be three year shy of 50 ... ick.

Good evening gang. Last night in Mountain View. We leave for Lynchburg Tn in the morning.
As mentioned yesterday we had minor problems on the way down. So far after that things are good. Here's some pics of what the idler pulley looked like.  Today we spent the day in downtown Mountain View. We stumbled upon a civil war memorial dedication. It was very informative and fun to see.  21 gun salute at the end of the ceremony.  Mrs Captmike and my niece.  |
