Greetings!

Indeed, living on a hill can have its benefits - sheesh! Any moisture we get tonight will be of the frozen flaky variety, maybe up to a foot. We shall see. If we get anywhere near that, I'll be telecommuting tomorrow. Meanwhile, we are basking in the glory of a Vikings victory and a Packers loss yesterday. On to next week for the battle for the division title, should be fun.

Enjoy your day and stay dry, Gurus!

Good Morning CGs!

Taking the OOdi to the dealer today for service. Just routine maintenance. After that visit with the family.

Hope everyone has great day!

Working in the office today as farmers scramble to pay expenses for next year rather than paying taxes on income.......have a safe day Guru's....

Morning all, well almost afternoon. More rain here. Tired of it. There's local reports and photos all over FB of the flooding. Rain should finish up today. I have a New Mexico friend in the middle of a snow storm without power. (membered up here but forgot his PW) and another in Texas with rainstorms too. My new car cover is getting put to the test. Cold weather is around the corner for us. Trying to keep my head down at work. Everyone is sick up here, I was the first one so naturally I got the blame. I'm on my third round of it and this time it's lasted about three weeks. My eyes still feel like two burnt holes in a blanket and scratchy throat, coughing up mess. When does this end? Plan on triyng out some lambchops on the BF tonight if I feel like it. He cooked last night. Have a happy Monday y'all...

Well, back to civilization....at least to a place with internet. Left dad's place this morning with a few flakes floating around. By the time we got a half hour away, it had stopped and by the time we got within and hour of home the clouds were breaking. Colder than a witches tit in a brass bra, wind chills at zero or so though. Stopped in the 'city' for a few groceries and met up with friends there and helped them with buying materials for finishing their "she-shed"...electrical, insulation, some additional framing, etc. Then on home where I got the truck unloaded then went to help them unload the materials they bought.

Well, "Goliath" didn't do anything for us except bring really cold and windy weather. Here at home, not even a flake of snow.

Rosie is making up a huge pot of her chili, that'll taste good and warm the spirits.

WE heard about Meadowlark this morning. RIP. I saw them back in the late 60's, those guys really put on a neat show.

Mmmmmm Chili sounds reeeal good. Wish it were cold enough to enjoy some here. Chili is like soup. Tastes so much better when the cold winds of the north come howling through.

Retire early and do exciting things - ski the expert slopes, drive race cars, build very cool cars.

Retire late - and excitement is defined as finding a new place to sit down.

Hear it happens a lot on those boat thingys.

Not having internet the last couple days, just about killed me. Why do we get so addicted to these things? I was so bummed about all I did yesterday was sleep. Crazy, then to top it off, I was so tired last night I went to bed at 9:30 and slept 'til 8:15.

Does your phone have the ability to act as a hotspot? Sleep is good, though ;-)

Kind of like a "man cave", except for women. This one will house her sewing stuff. She is huge into quilting and has a big quilting machine. It's going to be pretty nice when we are done.
