And what a morning it has been. First off, the inanimate objects in the kitchen started some sort of a revolt this morning.
I dropped an egg carton getting it out of the refrigerator, fortunately the egg survived. Then the window screen I have leaning in the end of my counter said, “Hey watch this.” And fell over.
Then the trash said, ”I can do better than that" and promptly fell over and scattered all over. I got that cleaned up.
Finally the eggs said, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” And grabbed hold of the bottom of the skillet and would not let go. I beat the hell out of them with my spatula. They still tasted good.
On the way in I discovered that today is driving day at the asylum. I think they gave all of the inmates a driver’s license and a car and told them to have fun. It was crazy out there.

Moving on to the good part of the morning, I baked brownies last night and they came out really nice. I already sampled one, it killed my sugar numbers.

The new computer has shipped and will be here on Monday. Can't wait to check it out.

Ken - perhaps go back to bed and start all over?
Ugly day developing here - rain on the way and gusts up to 30mph. Nice. When I finally get the Vette uncovered and gassed up to drive, this happens. Maybe tomorrow. Supposed to have a dude driving in from Starkville MS to buy BFs truck. I'll believe that when I see it. I must say I HATE selling cars. People are bored and will bug the crap out of you wanting your 'lowest dollar' without even being here with cash in hand. Neither of us like people a whole lot, either - that don't help any.
Chin up to get over the hump, y'all!

Niiiice new GS......hope they sell a lot of them and then someone takes real good care of one and then lets me get it from him for a reasonable price......lots of ifs there.....

Count me in on the people avoidance crowd. Having worked in customer service for over 20 years, I've dealt with enough people to last me a lifetime. Hence I build my life around my home which I leave only as needed (or to vacation). Busy weekend coming up with lots of people interaction. Charity auction Friday night, BIL B-day party on Sat., Sue's cousins' 50th B-Day on Sun. night. By Mon. I'll be looking for solace. Shed project on hold while I catch up on a few things. Probably start back up next week.

I like that GS too but they can keep the blue -
Where I am three days a week is a retail environment although I do get a lot of time alone in the office in front of the computer. Issue here is - people are stupid for the most part and when I ask for artwork it's a tooth pulling experience trying to explain why most of what they send won't work or why I can't "rotate" that car pic to show slightly more of an angle... seriously.. it's a 2D photo... not a hologram... (rolleyes) common sense is out the window. And, our tint shop and wrap shop are in the same building in adjoining suites, you enter through the tint door, then there's a separate door to the right for me. Has a black perf with logo along with dark tint. hinge is broken. sooooo I end up with ghetto thugs in pajama pants dragging snotty kids in here with McD bags of crap and they see my side with the nice hardwood floors, comfy leather box chairs and a tv so they come sprawl out and get shit all over my customer's filled orders that are sitting there. Burns my ass. Ok rant over - carry on

Fixing the hinge comes to mind. Locked door option? Bungee cord?
