ANOTHER GRAY MORNING IN THE NATIONS. THE CHEROKEES WONDER WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SUMMER.

GOING TO FAYETTEVILLE TO WATCH GRANDKIDS PLAY BALL THIS AFTERNOON. GUESS I'LL HAVE TO TAKE THE TRUCK; THE WEATHER DOES NOT SOUND PROMISING. IN FACT, THE GAMES MAY GET RAINED OUT.

Greetings! Semi-sunny today, and from the looks of it, the next few days will be rainy, so I took the Vette again today. Someday I will start working on it again.

Meanwhile,

Morning guys...Been up and at 'em since early. Got the truck loaded, the trailer pulled around front and a little work done in the shop. Rosie is getting off a little early today so we can make a little quicker get-away. The earlier we leave the less time on the road after dark pulling the trailer. I just rather not be on the road with a trailer after dark. I always have fears of the lights going out on the trailer and someone running into me. I've checked the lights twice already, but will check them again before we leave and I'll probably check them when we stop for any reason. OCD I guess.

Oh, sunny here and cool to start, but it's supposed to warm up into the upper 80's to low 90's today.

Hey guys, here I am. It's been a pretty rough past week. My father was on hospice for about 3 days and passed away on May 27th in the morning. The first couple of days proved to be extremely difficult. We all spent a lot of time with family and that helped. I've slowly started to get back into my routine, although it is difficult.

We have a memorial service for him on Saturday. Family will be coming from across the country. It will be nice to see them, but expect it to be a difficult time.

I appreciate the kindness everyone has shown with their thoughts and prayers.

So sorry, Matt. Not be sound cold, but you and everyone else knows , that he is in a better place. Sometimes a quick passing is better than lingering on and on for days. I know how tough it is losing a parent. The sting and the pain will wear away in time. You'll miss him and think of him every day. Think of the good times not the bad.

God speed to him. RIP

My prayers go out to you and your family Matt. I lost my parents 40 years ago and still think of them every day. It does get better.

So very sorry to hear about your dad's passing, Matt. Prayers for you and your family, and continue focusing on the good times.
Busy at the graphics shop again, discovering how much I truly hate the majority of people. Got a lot done tho. Supposed to have the car up at BFs work tonight for a trans service that I didn't get to earlier and then some thing he's going to do to my rear shocks to make it better until I get them replaces. Very solid on the back end and they're leaking. Found some replacements for a very reasonable price so probably will order them.
Rain on schedule the next few days, was hoping for a clear Saturday as there's a yard to mow and junk to do outside. Shaping up to be a nap inside...

Just returned from Mom's 90th. Lost Dad many, many years ago. Pretty much grew up without one. So sorry for your loss, Mathew. Be grateful for the time you shared. It's never easy to lose one so close to you. He is now and always will be your Dad.
