Happy Black Friday!
Yesterday I went to the store and was reminded why I don't normally shop on Black Fridays.
I'll try again today after I go to the parts store.
Enjoy yourselves today Gurus!

Good Morning CGs!

Kids are up and ready, just waiting for my mom to get here so we can leave. Heading over to the Honda dealer to pick up the new ride today. After that I have some other errands, but might hold off depending on the traffic/store congestion.

Tommy, regarding yesterday I think that breaking even is winning

Hope everyone has a great day!

Howdy! I think I am still full. At least I got to sleep in. Today the Christmas stuff starts going up - I imagine I'll be asked to drag the tree up here anytime now.

Thanks for the effort anyway, Marcus - hard to win without an offensive line, and throwing a pick there at the end didn't help any.

Have a good day, all!

Hey guys....I was out in the shop early today, as I made some shelf board for #3 yesterday, they stained them last night and want to take them home today when they go, so I got up, went out, and sprayed finish on them. I got them done by noon. Guess what we had for lunch today? Yup, turkey. dressing and all the other leftovers. What I got in return for all the work was a haircut!

We are headed over a little later to the 'city', to take them out to eat at their favorite place before they get on the road. So I better go get a shower.

Decorating is still underway, but I did manage to take a break and do a little point-and-click shopping. My oldest doesn't have much in the way of tools and and wants some, so I scored a couple nice deals at Home Depot on a mobile workbench and one of those Ryobi kits will the drill, sawzall, etc.

I wonder who Marcus is cheering for today. My bet it's Nebraska. That's why I'd bet Iowa.

Worked the nursery ALL day. Sue has a garden club show tomorrow and today was set up. I hate doing sales but I did bring in some good sales this week. Tomorrow is up in the air. Might get a family visit, might not. There is a nice combined auction I can go to if they decide not to come. What do I need? Nothing. But I did see some nice things I'd like to bid on. I have to learn if I can't steal it at the auction, don't buy it. Always seems when there is stuff I want there is always a bidder or two to bid me up.

Well, back from the 'city'. Full of good Mexican food (authentic stuff). Daughter and family are on their way back to KC, other daughter and two boys back here at home here in town, house is quiet and basically cleaned back up. Time to sit and wait for #3 to call or text and say they are home....that won't be until about 2am.

Evening Gang. We did a point and click shopping for ourselves. Got the 40 volt Ryobi blower for $99.

We're visiting my parents in Arkansas. Had a good time and will head home on Monday.
