Well good morning CG's!

How is everyone's day so far??? TGIF, right? I worked last night but I came home 2 hours early. Man was that nice. I crawled into bed with the wife and passed out. I know she was happy because she hates sleeping alone. We're getting ready to head off to breakfast at a little greasy spoon restaurant we found one day out in the boondocks. It's a little bit of a drive, but it's worth it

What's on the agenda for everyone else? Any plans for the weekend? It's supposed to be chilly here, but I'm not sure about rain, so I might cut the grass again - it's been growing like gangbusters the last 2 weeks.

Anywho, hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Gurus!

Ah yes. Friday. I am hoping to leave work a little (or maybe a lot) early today my own self. Gonna go jam with my buddy. Show off my new guitar a little.

Weekend plans?

Probably get the A/C working at the house. We have one of those roof-mounted evaporative coolers. I grew up on the east coast, and we had either wall mounted A/C or central air. Out here what they use is basically a large humidifier. A big metal box with a water pump and fibrous pads that get soaked, and air gets sucked in through them. I really don't care for this system at all, but the air is pretty dry here. Pain in the ass turning it off in winter and getting it cleaned and ready for summer.

Maybe paint a little in the house. I wouldn't want to have too much fun, or anything like that.

Have a super day, and a groovy weekend, Gurus!

Today the wife has to work so its just me and the dogs. Its going to be a great day to work on the rides. (Vette First) We are also in the process or buying a new house so I might get some of my stuff packed up before the big move. The weekend plans will be doing more of the same. Pack Pack Pack!

I have my first tee-time of the year tomorrow morning. Since the forecast is calling for low 50's and rain, there's little chance I'll be out there. Meanwhile, it's the fishing opener here this weekend, so thousands of folks will be out freezing their asses off.

Buying a house, eh? Stressful and exciting all at the same time. Best of luck with that!

Packing sucks... But it is a great motivator to throw a bunch of shit away!

Friday, huh? Well that's my big signal that there's only 6 days left this week.

Ah, what's on the books (or the dreaded list)?

(1) DRINK!

(and if I survive that......)

(2) Build a stand for my Hammered Dulcimer
(3) Change the oil/plugs/air filter on 1 bike
(4) Charge the Vette and the other bike - fire them both up (that's right, it's piss off the neighbors weekend )
(5) Start looking at some code that a company want's me to mod (contract work)
(6) If I'm still functioning - DRINK MORE! (because I had to screw up on item #1 if I got thru this list)

And if there's and time left - sleep.

i'm driving the vette out to summit racing's store for a new set of injectors for the turbo grand prix, and on my way home i'm stopping to look at a black/black/black 1995 cutlass supreme convertible.

We bought a new mattress about a year and a half ago. If I had to do it all over, I'd spend a little extra and get a tempur-pedic.

Autocross Sunday with the P-cars. The mechanic finishes working on the boat tomorrow. I get to do some detailing. In the past 6 months I've done my part to stimulate the economy. I'm done .............

Hey, we're practically neighbors. I was out there last weekend.

yeah we should do something this summer.

the cutty vert was beat down hard. once upon a time it was a beautiful car, but that was when i saw it 4 years ago. so i'm passing. i just wanted to toss in a new motor and flip it if it was still mint, and used the profit to make the vette about $2,000 faster.

on a positive note i've got a new set of FMS yellow top injectors sitting here on the desk for the TGP.
