Do you guys think this is a scam or what? A 1967 427 Stingray Convertible for $4500?? I've already e-mailed the seller, but this has to be a typo or some sort of scam. The car has adds for where I live, aswell as Ontario.

That car, if it is a real deal, is worth well over $45,000 not to mention $4,500, So I have no clue what he is up to. Could be one of those internet scams.

that's either a typo or a scam.
That car, to start with, should be marketed, not just advertised in some crappy website. This is a B-J level machine, or, at the very least, hsa the potential for being that. IF it is a real 427 roadster (no engine pics) it's worth at least $100k. |

Reminds me of the ones I'd see for sale back in the early 70's when $4500 was about $4300 more than I could afford. If by some miracle you get it for $4500, then the least you could do is give everyone here a ride in it. |

I ran the VIN and it came back as a 67... I was hoping to find a registry... no luck. The seller is a total moron or it's a total scam. |

I paid $3,000 for my 67 Coupe but that was in 1974. |

You have his e-mail address. Tell him you will go to the shipping company tomorrow and view the car in person. After inspection and you see a clear title you'll pay the company for the car. That way you will have the car and title signed to you and you will be safe. I bet he tells you he can't do that. |
