Gas prices, at least on the east coast (south), are starting to come down? Crude oil is off over 10% from the highs. Usually takes about ten days to eat up the supply and prices start to drop.

They should continue to come down unless crude starts to spike again (Iraq/Iran/Nigeria).

China has increased the "demand destruction" in their attempt to clean the air before the olympics. They are on an odd/even driving days. This has cut down 50% of the cars on the road in China and also cut down on crude oil use for driving.

India is still driving and growing like crazy.

China uses 50% of the worlds production of steel and other building products and commodities.

With this TS in the Gulf, prices will probably go back up

I saw a low of 3.74 for regular here this morning.

Crude down almost $4.00 per barrel at 10:10am. Its close to breaking major technical support levels.

Premium has dropped .30 in the last 2 weeks.

Needs to drop down ALOT more...like $3

I noticed yesterday that the different stations are starting to compete for lower prices again. For a while they were all high at the same price, but now there's some competition again.

4.09 here. Hasnt dropped but hasnt gone up either...

The price of crude in now down 14% in the last ten days.
The August contract has to be rolled into the September contract tomorrow.

Brownsville, Texas looks like its going to take the brunt of the storm (Dolly)and miss the oil rigs/production platforms.

gees its expensive now, i remember when it hit a dollar back two years ago and we all though dam,bloody expensive.
