Typical software company, put out a product that is not ready and test it on your customers. Then CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMERS for "patches" to fix your problem

Kinda amusing.

I just dropped an email to his company. I hope he gets it.

I really like their product and am a current owner of one of their aluminum radiators. Great product, great customer service. They deserve to be treated better than that.

Between Tom's dissing of CF and Rimcrews blatent advert for CG... That's both barrels going off at the same time.

That's odd. I've heard other complaints but have experienced no difficulties myself, not that I spend much time over there. But whatever, it sure has Tom pissed off! He makes a fine product too. It's one of the best purchases I ever made for my car.

He has been bitching for quite some time now. Mainly because the search results when he is searching for radiator or dewitts. Most other vendors have the same gripe. I could not imagine paying my 3,600 per year and get shitty service.

I suspect it's got to do with click throughs and ads. Along with whatever other features they offer sponsors. At $300 a month(!), they should be doing better.

Their new software has issues, and is in fact slower than what they had before. There's plenty of complaints and WTFs in the help section, but few or no responses from the people in charge.

I don't have one, but I've heard nothing but good things about them - if my radiator ever goes out, I'll be buying one of theirs. Hope you can get him to come over here!

Maybe that's why I haven't noticed anything. My ad-blocker stuff seems to work really well. I never saw any of the shit over there that everyone bitched about after IB took over.

I agree the search function sucks now. I had been using it quite a bit during my build and I saw it go to crap as soon as the new software went into effect.

He had one in each Gen's General forum. They yanked them all.

Tom? Who is this DeWitt?

Tom DeWitt stated, and I paraphrase, that he was not happy with the new software and the lack of responsiveness from CF management.

He indicated that on Monday, he was pulling his sponsorship on CF and was going to start visiting other forums, providing tech support there.

Anyone else care to comment? Did I get the basics down? I know I didn't capture his anger very well, but the gist is right, I think.

He threatened this back on 8/16. After 3 weeks of no results he had enough.

In case that gets deleted.....

Someone better pay attention here. The new search function is totally useless and must be changed. It seems the Archives and current threads are now combined. This slows the search down, brings up old threads, and many of them are duplicates.

Saving your search perferences doesn't do anything because it defaults right back. That's really annoying!

The search doesn't even work right because it doesn't find all the information. I just posted several threads, one in each section and I can't do a search to find them.

I use the search function each and every time I log on. I search out the name DEWITTS to see what people are talking about and who wants information or questions answered. If this doesn't work, the forum is useless to me.

Now pay attention, if this doesn't get fixed, the forum will lose a sponsor! Does anyone care?

Well, Tom DeWitt is no longer a supporting vendor. Looks like he may have been banned as well, since you can't send him a PM.... unless he had them disabled.

What discontentment? I don't see any. Tom DeWitt never existed.

His family might have disappeared too.

As you all know, I was the only one in "management" that ever reponded quickly to anyone's questions or requests. But since I've been "demodified" I don't really care what happens over there anymore.

I still have people PMing me as if I still had some power, I'd love to help, but I can't.
