Good morning CGs!

Another chilly morning today. It should warm up a little by later, so no biggie. I'll be driving the vette again today to work. I've decided to enjoy it as long as I can until it starts to snow. Why not. The fatal flaw was that because of that I lowered it's resale value yesterday by at least half. Right before I left work it started raining and my car got all wet. That's right, wet. Now I can never post "never driven in the rain" and get those top dollars anymore. What's a man to do?

How is everyone's Monday shaping up?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Chilly here too, but I made a nice big cup of cappuccino to warm me up.
Something I've always wondered about cars that were "never driven in the rain." Do they wash them or no?

Good morning! Looks like another lovely day on tap in the markets. Should invest in a dog food company, since lots of folks will be eating it if this keeps up.

Made it back from the Corvette Weekend in Ocean City Maryland. Lots of great cars, too much partying!! Need to come to work to recuperate from the weekend. LOL

My car made the trip great. It runs like a raped ape from 2000 and above. I need to get my gears and converter installed to get back the bottom. It will smoke the tires from a standing stop (no power braking either), something it would never do before with the old engine and 2.59 gears. I can't imagine what it will do with gears and TQC.
OMG!!!

Oh - yeh I forgot to mention - Second gear may be toasted. On the way home if I manually shifted into second it would slip until about 3000 rpm and then grab. However, if I let it shift itself from D, it seemed ok. Maybe a fluid and filter change. We'll see.. I'm not too worried about it at the moment and will get to it next.

Also, it sounds great and I noticed the sound changed after a few hundred miles.

I got a few photos I'll post in another thread.

Have a good day.

I killed two transmissions within a year of installing my stroker engine. Finally put in a properly beefed one and so far so good. These stock A4s just won't hold up to much additional torque.

Good Morning Gurus!

Well, I got all my paperwork for the re-fi sent out on Saturday. Though it probably just sat at the FedEx place all day and will go out today. Whatever.

Hopefully I'll know something in 48-72 hours.

Glad to hear everyone's cars seem to be running well. I need to pull mine out before the battery dies from neglect... It needs a bath too. Last time I drove it home, it was raining. It's all spotted now. But it does have a groovy Corvette-Guru sticker on the back window. I am looking forward to the HP increase!

And how 'bout dem Stillers! Always good to see my boys win. I need to watch a Titans game one of these days... I had a Materials Science class with Kerry Collins back at PSU. That is as close as I get to fame, I believe... Probably as close as I want to get.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

You reminded me...I washed my bike up this weekend and looked at the chain...it was black. Its supposed to be goldish colored so broke out the wire brush and went to town. Looks MUCH better now and I lubed the crap out of it as well. This weekend I will be putting the PCIII on the bike as well as doing the Flapper and PAIR mods. I actually set a day to do it this time. Plus I got a 4 day weekend so in case I screw something up I have a few days to fix it.

I assume you have an O-Ring chain. So you might need to be careful with that wire brush.

Not a good day. Woke up after what little sleep I did manage to get with such incredible soreness on the right side of my neck all the way down my back. Can't hardly move. Good thing not much going on here at work.
I'm really liking this little convertible the villan's insurance has me in, unfortunately, there's a 90% chance of rain tomorrow

And, yes, how 'bout them Steelers!

Went by the shop today to pick up my phone charger, both door panels are off, the thing is took apart, looks horrible! I'd never figure out how to get all that back together. But, those small parts are painted (ooooooohhhhh shiny! like little black diamonds hanging there) but we're still waiting on hinges. Once those get here, hood goes back on, taped off, painted, then off to the exhaust shop. Lookin at 2 weeks or so

Hello CGs!

Active chat today.

John is the winner of trivia!

Blondie - hope you feel better. Probably just a sore muscle?

I am happy cause I scored a free amp today from a buddy. We don't know if it works, but I'm hoping it does. Nothing fancy, just a cheap sony 4 channel, but it should work for the stereo upgrades this winter as long as everything is kosher.

Gonna go hit the weights soon.

Later!

Matthew

PS - too bad the video sucks Anything with copyrights usually gets yanked off of youtube pretty quick.

There's a guy on a street corner in Chicago that sells crack. I could probably get you his number if you're interested.

Yikes! Just the mild stuff thanks...

I already demonstrated to the doc that the 10mgs he prescribed me was more than necessary, so when he changed it to 5, I told him that 7.5mg was just right for papa bear Chuck yup.

Got it once, and now they say time to stop. Since 99% of folks get addicted to 'em, like Rush, and it gets made into a big media gig, guess who pays? The one who knows just how much is needed to take the edge off the pain uh huh.

Hello internet purchase (if we can find one).......
