Good Morning CGs!

How was everyone's weekend? Get any projects done?

It's another chilly one here today. About 27 out right now, will warm up a couple degrees later. Saw on the news that China is going to dump 600 billion dollars into their economy to help lessen the blow of the worldwide downturn. A bunch of other countries are taking similar actions. On a plus side, gas is still down. I saw it for 2.25 yesterday, so I can't complain too much about that.

Anywho, what else is new and exciting?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

MONDAY MOVIE TRIVIA:

Daniel Craig is the "new" James Bond, playing in "Casino Royale" and the new "Quantum of Solace". Name three other former Bond actors.

Good Morning, ha, finally know that one. Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Peirce Brosnan. As for weekend projects, I replaced the front brakes on my jeep. This is the first time I have ever had to pack bearings since all my previous cars were either front wheel drive or sealed units. Kinda messy but had to be done. Works well, even flushed the old brake fluid out. It's cold here as well with some snow on the ground. Not much else, have a great day. Dave.

After being in the 70s most of last week, it's only supposed to hit about 60 today. It's up to 44 now from 36 when I first got up. Brrr, I hate winter and my old bones hate the cold. I'm going to try to move out to Arizona in the next couple of years.

It's rained the past 2 weekends, and been sunny all week. I'm getting sick of it. Looks like another sunny work week. Does me a helluvalotta good when I don't get off until after dark.

It rains so little down here that when it does, its the top story on the 10 oclock news.

I went for a ride in it anyways, rode southeast until we found sunshine, then eventually rode back through the downpour.

play bond once???

If Connery and my dad were standing next to each other, you couldn't tell them apart, unless they spoke - 40 years ago, and today too uh huh.

Had a nice weekend. Went sailing yesterday on the Chesapeake Bay. Nice weather, but needed more wind.

No special plans this week. I'm off tomorow and need to do some stuff around the house.

1st photo Cruising into the Annapolis Harbor area, known as "Ego Alley" because all the boaters cruise in and cruise out with thier expensive yachts.

2nd Photo is coming back in after a day on the bay

Tell ya what, Don. Boats aren't my thing, but I sure appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into building them, and the skill that goes into piloting them.

Looks like great therapy!

I've been coaching my son's soccer team. We had our last game on Saturday. Kinda relieved it's over.

I spent Sunday helping a friend swap cams on his later model Vette. Almost done, will probably finish it this weekend.

Inspector Clouseau is the most formidable nemesis that the forces of evil ever faced. He makes James Bond look like a rent-a-cop!

Just came back from a 500 mile round trip using the 90 Corvette. I only averaged about 22 mpg but there was some city driving there too. It was a nice weekend with mother. I drove alone so had some peace except for listening to the classic rock. No issues with the car. 140,000 miles and going strong. Warm days (80s) Cool nights (50s)

Sounds like busy weekends for everyone.

Skirlin is our winner of trivia today. Of course, Sean Connery is the best Bond ever, but the new guy Daniel Craig is pretty close. I think with a few more movies he could surpass Sir Connery.

Still cold out there (I hate winter) but should warm up a few degrees this week.

Don - those pics look great. Wish I could be out there with ya. Don't be surprised if you hear a knock at your door next week and see me standing on your porch with a duffle bag!

I love that 2nd sailboat photo!!!! Awesome. I just returned from a long drive again also. Just over three hours one way to Mountain Home then right back, then to another nearby town to see mother, all yesterday. Then took afternoon off to rake up the equivalent of 30 bags of leaves and burn them. UGH!
I'm beat.
On a lighter note, got the Magnaflows installed today.... WHOOOOEEEEEE!!!
