and now we're done with the car after nearly two and a half months. :willy:
I don't like the round tips, but it's not like they really came out of my pocket. But I don't hate them either.
Sound byte attached, although I'm not very good at recording with my digital cam, just had it sitting on the back of the car. I even got a new license plate to replace the beat up one although it's not in these photos.

I need to try another one, and get a chair or stool and put behind the car and set the camera on it, then do it over. The camera was sitting on the back end of the car.

VB,
I think it sounded real nice.
I also prefer the double round pipes.
I have new dynomax w/ lt1 square pipes.....wish I had yours. They look so much cleaner than the square IMO.

Put some long tube headers in front of them and they will sing real good.
I bought the Maganflow 3" catback system without the resonator. Sounds awesome. A little too much resonance at 1800 rpm but I can live with that for the rest of the sound.

I think you did good. The car looks amazing and now has a great sound too.

I didn't like the shiny, round tips on my Corsas either. So I scuffed them up and painted them with low-gloss black header paint. I liked their looks much better after that.

The exhaust sounds nice!

As for the round tips... I have the Corsa's too (no resonance!) and love the shiney tips. Mostly, my car being Polo Green is so much darker, it needs the extra bling.

Then again, they are sooooo icky right now...
