Well since Matatk is MIA I will kick it off today. Got me a 3 day weekend! Starts this evening. Going on a campout tonight with my son so he can get his Arrow of light for cub scouts. Work party today as well so it should be a easy short day!

Greasy roads this morning - had a little snow overnight. The commute was unusually sane - folks were going 40-50mph, reasonably spaced for the most part. I'm sure I'll pay dearly for that on the way home tonight. Anyway, the countdown to a couple of short weeks begins!

Good day Gurus!

Last day at work today. I basically dropped off the company van, said goodbye and split. I'll still work with everyone there, so no tears were shed.

Came home and have been fighting with my laptop ever since. Purchased iWork for Mac, which is supposed to open Microsoft Office files. Wouldn't open the ones I tried to open. There's a hundred bucks down the toilet. FUG!

Then I tried to import a jpeg photo into my photo library, and even that wouldn't work... Brand new $2,400 laptop is pissin me off bigtime today. It better shape up, or I'll go back to my four year old Mac laptop. At least that one does what I ask it to.

Ah well... Hang in, and stay warm, Gurus!
