Good Morning CGs!

Just sitting here eating some multigrain cheerios and reading the news. Nothing interesting. Apparently Osama had a speech last night, but I didn't watch it. I didn't watch Bush's speeches, either, though. Nor Clinton's. See a pattern here?

Tapers are supposed to come and sand and skim coat today. I hope it happens. Otherwise they will come Friday. I'd prefer today so I can start painting tomorrow.

Now that we are finishing the basement I decided to redo my gym. I'm selling off most of my equipment and buying some smaller stuff to make more room. Nice to have a big gym, but unnecessary. Already got all the wheels turning for those deals, so hopefully it all works out.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Thats funny, we got the drywall people coming today too but they are only giving us a est. Hopefully they can start today too if not as long as its this week I will be happy. Got the bathroom wiring complete finally. It took so long cause I was procrastinating. Going to hang some drywall tonight. I might have the drywall guy do some hanging but he will be doing all the taping and sanding. Cant wait till this is done. I am starting to get close!

Happy hump day, lots going on today. My 15 yr old is going on a class trip to Gettysburg PA, will be gone until late Saturday night. My new wheels and tires are supposed to arrive today from TireRack,Yippee. I found a few pics I thought were humorous and I thought I would share.

Serious about speeding...

I'm expecting 65 degree sunny weather so hopefully a full day in the garage will net me some progress with the many projects I have started over the winter.

Mister President Barack H.Obama

Let the good times roll. It's going to take some hard work and sacrifice but things are going to get better. Energy, health care and education, new roads and bridges and schools and the building of a prosperous future. Cuts here and spending there. Corporations and agricultural interests to see tax and subsidy realignment. Military budget spending review with pay increases and benefit improvement for those who serve. I have a dream, I have been to the mountaintop, I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, We are the World, we are it's children.

Give me a U, Give me an S, Give me an A. What's that spell?

U.S.A.

Republican response;

The people don't need more government or more government spending. We can identify people and groups to throw a bone and all will be well because people know what to do with a good bone. They know how to get out of this crap without any help from us.

God bless you, God bless me, God bless everybody.

Good luck on the house.

I missed the "speach" were those the true highlights? The military part would be cool as we are kinda underpaid and more benefits is a plus as our health care plan is good for us but not so good for the family. TRICARE SUCKS BTW.

Gettysburg's pretty cool. I did quite a few class trips there when I was in grade school. But it was only a 20 minute drive from the school.

Where is all that money coming from? If he spends that much would it not make matters worse?

Blondie!!! Where ya been? Welcome back

Drywalla guys finished sanding today. They had to fix a couple little spots that I found around outlets so I'll sand those myself tomorrow. Then it's time for primer. Coming along. I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow of the patching.

Got in a nice little workout today. Ready to relax.

How was everyone's day?
