Good Morning CGs!
How is everyone this morning? First order of business, I'd like to send wishes to Vetteblondie, who put her mom in the hospital yesterday. We hope she recovers quickly! Everyone glad it's Friday? I'm back to work today, so not me....lol. I need about a week to relax with sand, sun, and scantily clad hot women all around me. Oh well. Maybe next year. Happy Friday to all.. Prayers go out to Vetteblondie-Hope your Mom is Ok.. Not much happening here... Looks like it's going to be a great weekend, so hopefully I'll get some yard work done. Got a new chainsaw I'd like to break in! Think it will be a good stress reliever! Taking off Mon/Tues...Got to have a freaking EMG and MRI done....whooo-hoooo!! MRI? Oh yeah, I had one of those once - it was like being in a casket with a jackhammer. Did the job, though - they quickly figured out why my back was making me feel like I was getting hit with a cattle prod. Have a great Friday, everyone! |

I put my sister in the hospital when I pushed her down a flight of stairs, my parents were not happy people,  my sister either. Ah, that's water under the bridge. Wow, my wife has an MRI this morning, been there done that. I don't much like hospitals, been there too many time while growing up. It is really windy here this morning but it is warmer, a step in the right direction. Here is a few pics to warm up to... TGIF...well not really for me. Got to work this weekend. My weekend will be next weeken...ah thats how it goes in the Military, get a bunch of time off then have to pay it back. Drywall guys should be finished today for the most part with some light work to be done tomorrow.

I can never tell what day it is unless I see the hot chicks. And I never care what day it is unless it's raceday.
No fun this a.m., went to HD, bought carpet & pad for the staircase. Just finished up pulling out the old carpet, padding and staples. Sure was dusty shit. Got the new padding down. Must be beer-thirty now. Tomorrow, the carpet goes in, I've never done it before. What fun. |

Place is way overpriced and never has the right stuff (or quality stuff for that matter). I'll go to HD tomorrow and get the right one. Hope the MRI goes well and everything turns out ok. Later all. I picked up some tools at Harbor Ft. The kicker was on sale for $15 and I got a stair tool with 6 interchangeable heads ( the tool that tucks carpet into the crevices) on clearance sale for $6. So, I've got $21 in tools. I just hope I don't have to use them very often.LOL |

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, and prayers to Pappy too.
Mom is much better maybe go home tomorrow afternoon or Monday, once the neurologist feels the 'confusion' spells are over. He expects a full recovery for her. She was taken for a CT scan Thursday, the meds given prior reduce heart rate and blood pressure, but went too far. Thus, resulting in a 'stage three heart block' requiring a temporary pacemaker and a LOT of patience on my end. With the resulting brain functions diminished the patient will be 'crazy' and violent on occasion and frankly be nuts. There must be a special place in heaven for those who deal with dementia patients. I'm not cut out for that I've discovered but you do what you can with your parents. Now out of ICU and into our own room finally. Again thank you all.
