In a desire to create more unity and to increase Corvette related discussion, starting May 1, 2009, we are going to combine all the "Cx Chat" forums into one big fat Corvette Chat section.
It will live in the Corvette Catch-All section. The reasons are: 1. Why must there be Chat when there is Tech? 2. Everyone should enjoy and share in Chat and that allows all generations to enjoy the events and such. 3. Cuts down on generational segregation. 4. Cuts down on mis-posted Tech questions ending up in Chat. Personally, I am looking forward to this new layout. I think it will make Corvette-Guru that much more dynamic and interactive! A quick update.
I will be doing this next week. I am currently out of town dealing with some family issues (my other thread about my brother). So I am simply rescheduling this upgrade! No biggie, gang! |

I will be testing this tonight. If all goes well, I will make the swap tonight. Otherwise...
When this starts, I will put a post in here. What I will be doing is hiding all the Chat sections so no one can add to them. Once that is done, I will create the new Mega Chat section in Corvette Catch-All. Then merging all the contents into the new forum section. After that is done, I will make it visible to all. This is the plan... we shall see how well it goes. Thanks! |
