I'd totally hit it. Then I would add a white skunk stripe, black hash marks and some black rims with a chrome lip. Deep dish, not GS A-molds.

Yes sir! But not for more than $5,000.

8k is the standard dealer price for anything that resembles a clean corvette.

And there are folks out there who beleive that every Vette is as valuable as a 1970 ZL1.

We did a little community fundraiser last weekend and brought out five Corvettes from the club. We had my 94, my buddy's 2006 Z06, a 1961 NCRS top flight convertible, 2004 convertible, and a 2007 convertible.

Our audience was very multicultural and mostly at a loss for the American "Car Culture". Most people that stopped by to look at the cars had no clue as to what years or body styles were what... only thing they had a thought of was that the cars were worth a ton of money and you would need to be rich or a millonaire to own one. My car was the least valuable car sitting there and people would guess its value at around $25-$35k. When I told them they could have it on the spot for $12K they thought I was joking.

Uninformed people will pay higher dollars for a Corvette than those that know what they are buying.

As far as this orange crate for sale... it looks like its in good enough shape from a 10ft. photograph but the color is just awful.

I dunno..Think I'd have to put a black GS type stripe on it...Change the wheels....lower it....tint the windows...

It would be different, that's for sure..
