Good Morning CGs!

Well, I'm was sick last night, so I wasn't on here at all. I came home from work and bled the brakes on MIL's car after the brake job from hell a couple nights ago. Really helped with the pedal feel and the caliper isn't hanging up anymore (as far as I can tell). But during the job and test drive I felt like crap. Headache and stomachache. So I came home, and as I was getting cleaned up had to run into the bathroom and . Wife said there is a stomach bug going around, I must have caught it. After that I laid in bed and forced myself to eat some toast and a banana and hit the sack early. Feel like a different person today. Still a little tired, but I'll manage. Wifey said a woman at work's son had the bug last week or so for 7 days and lost 20 pounds. Ugh. Instant diet plan when you can't hold anything down. Glad I'm not that guy.

So how's everyone else feeling?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Sorry to hear that your illin' there young buck.

I wanna bring up something that cracks me up. Whenever I have to spend money on one of our vehicles, my wife gives me a scowl like I intentionally broke it. She inevidably will ask something like "How much is that gonna cost?" as if I am a psychic or have a hand in automotive repair price control. I guess it's not just the cars, but any repair work. The plumber, the A/C repairman or any other professional when we require their services. Sorry about this rant and ramble. How much is this gonna cost?

Have a wonderful day ................

Good Morning Gurus,

Matt, hope you feel better. I know that almost every time I got around my Sister's kids I would get sick. Now that they are a little older I don't seem to get that problem, but maybe I have become imune to thier bugs.

I'm prepping for the 4th of July weekend. I'm getting pulled like a "Push-me-Pull-You". Corvette buddies and sailing buddies. Dividing my time between toys. Cars and Boats. Life is full of challenges...

I'm taking the boat out Friday morning with my boss. I think we're going to have a great weekend for sailing this weekend, so I think that's were my time will be spent. Fireworks tomorow night right across the street from my house. Its nice to not have to drive anywhere this year for fireworks.

Hope you all have a great holiday.

Good Morning Gurus!

Glad you're feeling better Matt! Hope the bug is gone for good!

Tommy, I can totally relate. My wife and I had a similar discussion the other night about something that needed fixing. She seems to think I should be able to know when something's about to break, and fix it before it actually breaks/fails/whatever....WTH? I told her that if I was a damn psychic, I would have long ago won the lotto and disappeared into the sunset
(FYI: That statement didn't go over very well-- )

Married life, ain't it grand?

Don, it sounds like you've got a good weekend on tap! Cars and Boats, can't lose either way

Hope everybody has a great day!

Good Morning Gurus!

Had a shoot at a casino last night. I don't gamble, so no extra fun on the side, unfortunately. The shoot went til 9:30pm, two hour drive home, went directly to bed without dinner.

It is quarter to 7am now, and getting ready to drive 90 minutes to another shoot. No time to eat. Maybe lunch.

Today is our 17th wedding anniversary, but my wife works late tonight. We're not real big on the occasion anyway. We might celebrate later, or not.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Good morning, Gurus!

I'm up early cuz my stomach was bothering me, but unfortunately I don't think I caught anything. Just my system not being very happy.

But, I already got some work emails taken care of, so that's good. It's a nice slow work week with the holiday coming up. I may get to take a nap later since I didn't sleep well.

Happy Thursday!

Wo9w, what a way to start a weekend. Hope you are feeling better Matt. I think all wives are related in that way Tommy, but in some cases we/I have done something to raise their suspicions.. Chris, when it rains it pours, where were you Blackhawk or Cripple Creek? Don, sounds like you have the best of both worlds.

I am leaving for KC in about an hour. I am taking the two younger grandsons with me. The Wife and daughter will head up after they get off work with the older grandson. They will hang around until Sunday, then come home, while I stay and work at the #3 daughters house next week.

You guys have a great weekend, in case I don't have a chance to log on...

Hope you're feeling better soon, Matt. And happy anniversary, Chris (ya rookie)!

I'm heading home shortly - my wife took the day off, and I'm sure she is preparing a healthy honey-do list. It's partly cloudy today - the part of the sky you can see is cloudy.

I'll have to talk to the guy at madtuner.com to see what kind of scanner/software I need to get him more info to fine-tune my PCM. I had hoped to find someone nearby to look at it, but the choices seem to be quite limited.

Hope everyone gets their weekend off to a good start!

I made it to KC without incident, 6 hours and 20 minutes. The two grandsons were great on the trip down. They are enjoying playing with the one cousin. Talked to the wife an hour ago and see is on the road with the daughter and oldest grandson. Looks to be a good 4th weekend.
