If you punched him in the face, my guess is he would smash the sh*t out of you same as i would if you hit me in the face.

I was very concerned that I might fail this time. My biggest concern was engine temperature. It is very cool here today by local standards (40F in Sacramento, CA) and the garage is wide open. My car was running at about 180F. I was afraid that might push my HC too high. The car passed with all numbers way under. BTW, our test is done at 15 and 25MPH.

We also have a new "Evap Test" that I had forgotten about and therefore didn't check at home. Did OK there too.

Just wanted to let people know that you can pass running lower temperatures.

A permamant ban? Wow? It looks like they deleted the entire "support the Forum" thread before I got the chance to read it. They have definately become too PC for a lot of members.

Today is a nice day, but, Last night was even better.
My wife and mother in law took me out to dinner and took me to PepBoys and got me a really nice car cover for Destiny (my 84 Vettr) and a complete stereo system with the gigantic box with woofers and the other tweets and mid speakers and a seperate pair of 9 in ones for the doors.
They even got me stuff that they wouldn't let me see yet.
I've got the best dammed family in the world.
Not because they give me great presents, but, because they always tell me how much they love me and they show it and they always show their support for me in whatever I try to do.
I wish Everyone and your loved ones a wonderful holiday time.
And to the people that don't like me,,,Please have a safe and happy holiday time. daddue11

The recruitment center keeps bothering me trying to get me to join the armed forces. Dunno why. They were at my highsschool last year. Saw me and started talking and yea....Pick me of all peeps? Interesting. Im lazy, outta shape, reserved personality, and not much knowledge. Guess they figured to give me a gun, ship me to Iraq and just start shooting. Been feeling under the weather today though. My legs ache pretty bad. Might be a virus or summin....

Here is my take on the recruitment. Its a great way to earn a degree without really working on one, learn some high speed job skills, and take some "me" time to decide what you want to do all the while getting you into the best shape of your life! AND they PAY you to do that!! I say sign up for 3-4 years, try it out and if you dont like it at the very least you should have about 1 year of college from just what you have done in the military! If you have any questions about military life ask some of us here. Some of us have served or are now serving.

Oh, and dont even get me started on the benefits, theres a TON!

I'm skinny, lazy, and I could not deal with some man YELLING IN MY FACE telling ME how much of a disgrace I am for putting my life on the line and am protecting his freedom as well. Huh? If I punch him in the face, I wonder what would happen? Throw me out? My parents said no to joining the army. They got really mad for me bringing it up and kinda started yelling at me. Kinda hurt my feelings but I guess cuz they don't want me dead. A world without me in it would never be the same. ........

I am done there. They have made sure of that...

I have found out that Streetknight got it, too.

If they are not careful, the intelectual property that made CF so great will be gone...

And who will be left to answer those questions on Lambo doors???

First off, let me ask everyone pray for my grandparents(moms side). They are both ill. Grandmother has had emphsema**spelling**, and my grandpa had a virus/cold and kissed her and the germs from him got into her lungs and they couldn't get out of her lungs because her emphasema is so bad. She had to use oxygen tanks as well. So it develpoped into cancer....Well, thats what the docotrs say. She isn't suppose to live another 2 months so...Sad since its chrstmas time. My grandfather has a tumour as well. So he is not doing well and his mind is starting to....go persay.....But im happy my family family (parents, sisters, animals) are all healthy and of course me 2! So.....before I end this paragraph, Merry christmas and be safe and happy this year. Hope 2008 is a good year 4 everyone. Oh yea, even if you don't celebrate christmas, HAPPY NEW YEAR AND THE HOLIDAY YOU DO CELEBRATE!!!!

Oh man did today suck though. Got my report card. Well I knew I had 2 WFs but I got a D in computer. ewww....I thought I was doing really well. Other peeps in there was asking me 4 help.... Emailed him and asked him wats up with that. C in english. Did all my work...made 90s and hundreds...She gave me a zero on a paper because she "claimed" I didnt turn it in. It was only a point from a B but that zero just shot my A to crap. New semester starts the 9th of janruary so lots of time to enjoy the car IF IT EVER COMES BACK HOME. Mmm I hope I get car stuff 4 christmas. I ordered me a Carbon fiber shift boot and console door cover with Violet blue piping. I cant wait till it comes in. Umm....can't think of much else going on. Nothing on T.V. 2 watch, no good tunes on the radio, cars not here, friends are all at work or sleeping. I wake up at 7 every morning so I am wide awake by eight while everyone specially my parents r snoozing in late.

Been watching CMT country music videos but it's getting old seeing the same songs played over....Thought it over and I am going to ditch my neons completly. I am going to get the LED undercar kit with 7 changing colors, with the otpion of strobing, pulsating to music ect... BUT that will be a while. The kit cost 230 bux so yea....My parents r debating on whether to get my hood/ front bumper fixed for a chrstimas present though which will be nice. It looks really bad....Once it's fixed, I am going to put on a chrome emblem. I think it's the 93 edition emblem. Some hasmarks, and a chrome front plate. All that's fairly cheap unless I get those for christmas as well.

Thought about going out for some golf this weekend if it's nice outside. Havent golfed in a long time. Used 2 play basketball but it got kinda boring so I picked up golf. It's raining all day 2day so it's cold and icky outside.

Well ,it looks like I took the pics at the right time. After you detail a car, wht does it do? Rain........ A minor cold front is passing through. I wish I wasn't so anal about appearance of the cars. My cars as a teenager were clean as a whistle and even today I dont like driving in a dirty, spotted car. I spend more time on cleaning than I do behind the wheel. Two hours of cleaning for a 50 mile cruise. I wish I had a warehouse to store these things in or a really huge carport. I'm working on it.

I would not trade the wife for a garage space. She's cooler than average.

She actually would give up the space if I asked. The tradeoff would be that I would have to clean the snow off her car before she left for work. She leaves at 5:30, and I do not get up until almost an hour later. I needs mah beauty sleep!

Well, Bogus yes, CentralCoaster no.

CC has been one of the biggest antagonist to IB (If you ever saw his Avatar with the bald headed guy with IB painted on his head, with a circle around it and a slash line thru it, well.....). It just seems he would go in one day, post a thread, get a 30 day time out, come back in and start the process over.

None-the-less, it's really starting to iritate me. I like CF , mainly for the OT section. I stay away from/ignore the idiot non-vette posters, but the AUDI ads really bug me.

It was fun while it lasted (up til this past summer). Bummer.

Now, I gotta watch my spelling (Ooopps, misspelled got to)

Here are a couple more. This is a really sweet car to drive. We put way too much $ into it already. Going to have to slow down spending a little till we recover. Then it's off to the next project.

I remember reading a lot of posts in the other place about how great it was in the early days. Well, the early days are back again only it's right here and it's right now. I've been watching the member list jump.
I came by this site a couple of years ago but didn't join till recently. I was glad to encounter a number of people that I am already familiar with. One door closes, another opens. I'm glad I'm on this side of the door.

As others have said, and this thread clearly indicates many of CF's members are heading here. Kind of funny that they are chasing away those needed the most, but their loss is your gain Andy.
Have a safe trip home.

As I said on the phone, the admins are looking for any form of dissention right now. Your quite civil disobedence is the type of crap they are aiming at right now.

I hope I am wrong... and perhaps they will read this thread and realize what they are upto... and undo some of the damage - starting by not banning you... but I would be shocked if they did anything that smart...

my 93 has a squeak in the right hand upper part of the dash . sounds like it is near the windshield, around the glovebox area. any ideas what it might be. only does it when the car is cold which makes it kinda hard to find.

CSS is right. It was that thread regarding "supporting the forum."

It was crap and everyone knew it.

JeffVette - a ZR1 expert was banned, so was CentralCoaster.

They are cracking down on dissention by kicking out their most knowledgeable and helpful members.

AFAIK, they get what they pay for.

Don't worry, this place is going nothing but up.

Well it's still Thursday so I will add my 2 cents. Tomorrow is Friday and it's my last day of work for two long weeks, I will be on vacation until the 7th of Jan 08 Time to complete some stuff on my honey dew list. I've already started by buying my wife a 42" plasma and a real nice TV stand to put it on, put it all together tonight, she's happy as a fag in an all boys school. now get this, her birthday is on the 22nd, that's also my sons bday. Dang, three days before christmas. I guess I got a busy week ahead of me. just sharing a little.

You must be sick. It's Thursday dude. Just got back from a morning cruise in the 90. Went to the Homestead Baseball Stadium and on past the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Took a couple of pics on the stadium grounds that I'll post later. Car ran great and felt good to be shifting the 6 speed again. I'm going out front to work out / detail the 83 that we just got back from the shop. It's pretty clean so it shouldn't be too much of a task. It needs a new coat of wax though to bring out that luster in the black.

'83 what?

What?

Why?

I've been posting in threads the past two days about their Audi ads, and not even a warning.

Spill it.
