Good morning Guru's, let's all get out there and kick some butt today. That makes me tired just saying it. Good luck on the surgery Don. Very hot and humid yesterday but got some rain last night. Not as bad today but I said after last winter I was not going to complain about the heat ever agin. So I won't. Have a safe day everybody!

Did you see a price for the GS? I read or saw it somewhere that you can take out the fuse for the exaust dump so it stays open all the time. I might have seen that on Guru.

I like to cruise around town in 3rd also and have experienced the same thing. In OD it downshifts as smooth as silk. In 3rd it bangs on down to low. Glad you brought that up I was wondering what the deal was. Mine is still the stock tranny.

I'm agreeing with Mike on the NAPA parts guys. We have one or two that have been there a long time and they can find stuff. If they are busy when I get there I will just wait until they are free. If I need some WD 40 or some wax I will go to O'Reillys just because they are down the street.

Its hot outside and some of that hot is getting in through my bronze roof when the sun is beating through it. They offer several solutions. One is the headliner that is thick and blocks out all light and one is the static cling version. Anyone have any experiance with either? Thanks

Staying out of debt is key to success. Sometimes you have to be in debt such as a mortguage or business expansion. Credit card debt and home equity debt means you are probably living beyond your means. That's why I drive a nice paid for C4 instead of in debt for a C6.

The car is in a garage and always has been. The guy I bought it from had it stored in a hanger for 6 years and only put a few miles on it. I think it probably has to do with the air conditioning which is in full use now. Where does the mold collect? I will try all the above and let you know. Thanks for the help!

The cabin in my 90 does not always smell good. I know, I know, I need to stay away from the bad burretos. My wife says it smells like old people, so I went right in and took a shower and liberally applied fofo juice, but it didn't help. Is there an air filter somewhere up under the dash that could be the problem? The car's interior is very clean and has a few christmas trees hanging in it but it still has an odeferous smell.

I bought a set of Kumho Ecsta ASX 275 40R 17's and have got along well with them. I don't race and have heard they won't stand up to being pushed hard. They are quiet and are wearing well. Cheap too!

There are 4 ethenol plants within 25 miles of me and they use a ton of corn each year. Since a lot of people like me make their living supporting the guys who do raise corn we love ethenol. Bring on E12 or E15 the more the better we will just make some more. We need oxygenators so why not use something we can supply. Remember that the govt. is always going to subsidize farming, ethenol is one way of doing that without just handing the farmer a check.
It takes energy to make energy, Does anyone know how much it takes to crack a barrel of crude?

That looks nice but I remember when a 383 was in a Roadrunner. I saw a C6 the other day with a 427 emblem on the hood and I liked it. Your paint looks good!

I think Arizona is doing what it has to do. The Feds are not going to do anything. Repulicans or Democrates.
