I'm not 100% sure what you mean about transitioning. You should be turning into the direction your back end is sliding already to maintain control and prevent a 180 (ie, back end it going right, turn right). Let off the gas when you are done sliding to let it hook and then straighten the wheel back out. Your hands shouldn't leave the wheel during this entire process.

Matthew

I drove a buddies vette in a wet parking lot one time and he was saying "just let goe of the wheel it will it correct itself" I couldn't make myself do it, although there was noting to hit, I felt like it would just keep doing donuts if I did.

I"m hooked and its a problem. Does anyone have a favorite turn (right or left) where just a litlle extra gas gets the rear end around ? I do, when I see it coming, I tell myself "this is going to be great !!". Coming out, I add a little pressure to the pedal and zip it slides around. :banana21: I love it, its so cool, did it tonight with the wife and she freaked, " your going to die in this thing" I was going maybe 25 mph. My only concern is...... How do I transition out of the slide when my instincts tell me to grab the wheel ? Then the car grabs and jerks straight. Tips for making me a better driver are appreciated.

I was shooting 100 to 115 and my handicap went up, then I shoot 91, everyone screaming "SAND BAGGER!!'. Hell, I bought the beer after that. That shut every one one up..

Well, my transitions are old school. Probably why they don't work good in the car. If there is better out there I guess I should research these as well.

Whata beautiful day, mid 70's, a little windy ( jealous, yankees ?) I shot a 91 at our local course and with my 21 handicap, I took all the money. 165 bucks, OH YEAH, did the Tiger arm pump on the 18th hole when I sunk a 15 foot birdy putt to win it all. I'll spend it on the car.. Good way to start my vacation.. Celebrated by washing the vette afterwards.

Even with the ignition on shouldn't the spare key turn the lock mechanism ? Cause it didn't. I'm thinking of locking the keys in the car again (with the windows open) and reinacting the situation. I hate my remotes cause they eat batteries and I never know if its going work.

My only concern is that when you start cutting off tubing to replace the fitting you might not be able to match it up to the slave. It is always best to replace the line with the slave (I know expense is probably a factor). It will sure make the job a whole easier. I would also add, it was so much easier to rethread the line onto the slave with it mounted, it took me two tries to get it started, opposed to 45 minutes and giving up with the slave hanging semi-freely.

How in the HELL can that thing get up to 162 mph ? As aerodynamic as it is? I would it think self distruct at 70. Look something like the space shuttle re entering the atmosphere.

My transitions suck,,,, outside in the direct sunlight they work fine. Inside the car they don't darken. What good is that ?? So I spent big bucks and got some prescription RayBans and just swap em out.

I was working on my windshield wipers today, bending and forming, to make them set better on the windshield. I had the keys in the ignition in the on position, so I could turn the wipers on and off. But I didn't have the windows down. Well the door shut slightly and I couldn't get it open. I got a spare key, it wouldn't unlock either door. CRAP!! And of course, pressing the second remote wouldn't do anything. My savior, the little green button on my remote that pops the rear glass, it worked !! I had to reach the door lock from the rear with a broom handle, at least that worked.
