Good Morning CGs!

Welcome back to the workweek. Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Last night after work the Wife and I had to attend a Christening shower. Her 2nd cousin's baby is 9 months old and had the ceremony. It was a quick in and out for me. Eat and run kinda deal. Since this is her extended family, I didn't know anyone there so I wasn't too interested in sticking around. Got home and cleaned up the house a little bit and called it a night.

Plan on picking up the engine stand tonight after I get home and workout out. On my way to getting that project started.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning Guys.
I guess I gotta get up and figure out why the vette blew all of it's oil out at the top end of the track yesterday. Wish me luck, I am going in.

Morning!

Last full week of work here! Busy weekend, going through stuff and tossing out anything we haven't looked at in the past 5 yrs! Got the lattice framed for the deck, so that's done. I've got some more projects I need to complete pronto! Some friends of ours came over Sat night for supper and after that we aired out the guitars for a few hours! Good Times!

Good luck Pete!

Best of luck Pete. Matt, picking up the engine stand would count as the workout for me. Felt a little under the weather yesterday but I did get motivated around 3:00 PM and washed the cars and my wifes truck. Final rinse came in the form of a rain shower in the middle of the night. Turned on the news this morning when I woke up which is something I rarely do anymore. Too many negative waves man. I'll try not to do that again. I'm going to try to get an earlier start on things too instead of goofing around on this stupid thing. . The plan this week is to help my son paint his kitchen and bathroom. Not to difficult. Have to paint some stuff out at the nursery too. And I'll fill in the rest of the week with something off the list. Have a great day gang.

Ewwwww, doesn't sound good, Pete! And good luck with your project, Matt - she'll be like new! David, I don't envy you moving - I know I'd need a nice, cleansing fire. They will probably have to sharpen my feet and pound me in right there, too much work to move.

It's supposed to be rainy here today - I guess we're overdue, as we haven't had a drop in over 2 weeks. At least it had the decency not to rain over the weekend.

Have a good one, all!

After us living in the same house for 25 years, I think it would be so much easier just to light a match and move on. We have no plans on moving anywhere unless the right deal becomes available. Less is more.

We've been in ours for over 22, and I wouldn't know where to start. On top of that, at some point we all become just a box of stuff, and I apparently am the keeper of the boxes of stuff - things that were my grandparents', parents' and my brother's.

Lots of kids gone again today...makes my job easier....

Matt, that's a good project you're starting.

Pete, holy cow I hope you can get it figured out...doesn't sound too good though.

David, I've said before, if I move most of the dang furniture in the house goes with the house, or else I will pay someone to move me (and I don't think I can afford that). I don't envy that part of your new job. Been in our house 23 years and like the rest you guys my age, we have accumulated so much junk that never gets used...why do we keep it? Actually the house would be a breeze compared to my woodshop...holy pooh-pooh.

RAIN AND MORE RAIN AND FLOODING. We are safe, the house sits on fairly high ground and is well built. But so far two dead in cars swept away, there are even pictures of overturned school buses (empty). A lot of roads closed, some washed out and a lot of other damage. I don't think Atlanta has ever seen anything like what we are getting this past week, plus more rain forecast for all week. Just unreal here.

I have not seen the news lately, and had no clue.
Be safe, and good luck weathering the storm.

Thanks Pete. We will be on the national news tonight. Now they are reporting more cars washed away and people missing.
To make it worse we are expecting another 2 to 4" of rain this afternoon.

Good luck.

Lol...craigslist is the new garage sale. I've bought and sold a ton of crap on there. In fact, I'm on my way to pick up my "new" engine stand right now!
