Good Morning CGs!

Well it's supposed to be a warm, sunny day here. I think around 82*. Should be nice! Last night once the wifey got home I took the rugrat to the park for an hour. She watched some older kids playing, went on the swings, the slide, the bars, etc. Of course didn't want to leave at 8:00 when it was time to go get cleaned up. That kid would stay there all day. I guess that means we have to get a swingset in the yard? Add it to the list. It is amazing, though, that I am teaching her words to say and she repeats so many of them almost perfectly. It wasn't like that even a few weeks ago. So it's a very fast pace that kids progress at. Wow.

Nothing new on the disabled corvette in the garage. I'd like to get some engine bay cleaning done tonight, but another trip to the park might be in store for me if my wife has anything to say about it. So we'll see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I think it's better to bring the youngins to the park than set up a home playground. That's more for parental convenience. Going to the park gives kids a chance to interact with other children, gives them greater exposure to microbes from animal fecal matter, airbourne contaminants and other sight unseen microscopic materials helpng them build up the bodies defenses. This in turn can help them build strong healthy bodies.

Hey guys, it's Weds already. Kind of quiet right now, Wind isn't blowing.....yet. Yesterday we had winds up to 60mph. Blew over trucks and uprooted trees here in town and surrounding area.

I'm pooped today, worked in the shop until 10pm only to find out I mis-figured the size of four doors (all the same size) and now I have to re-make those four (what an idiot I am). I can't do that very often or I won't make any money. Just part of what goes with making custom cabinets.

Just had one of my juniors dump a quart of finish on the floor. The second one he's done in consecutive days. I've got to go out and supervise the cleanup.

What's the old rule again? Oh ya! Measure twice, cut once.
Sorry to hear of the error tee. Stuff happens. Even to those in the know. Maybe you can convert them to a nice small shelving unit.

Yea, I guess I was in too big of a hurry. Sh!t happens. I'll save them as they are made to fit a standard sized cabinet, not the custom size that these are. Or else I'll design a cabinet just for those doors.

Well, I hung a sailfish my wife brought home. Finding a place for it was a challenge. It's about 3 ft. wide and about 6 ft. long. Thought I'd hang a couple of other items I've had laying around looking for a home. I find this shelf base. It has a glass shelf to go with it. I put the glass shelf somewhere safe to protect it from breakage. I've been looking around and looking around and I can't find it anywhere. I protected it so well I can't find it. Guess that's another reason you should not keep putting something off. When your finally ready to do it, ya have to go find it. Sonofagun .........

Finished my taxes on Sunday. You know how they say 47% of Americans don't pay taxes? I'm covering for one or two of them. And tax year 2010 is going to be worse for me! I just started playing with stocks, and I learned that if you make a few bucks, Uncle Sam wants them!

Going to be 65* here today. I get to drive my Corvette to our first league round of golf. That makes today a good day!

Oh yeah, if you make money on stocks, Uncle Sam wants his cut right now! But if you lose, well, you will be taking your sweet time taking those deductions.

I know I'm late. I ducked in earlier but couldn't linger too much. No... Tom, I filed an extension!! My life story. "A day late and a dollar short!"

My dad is a CPA, and tax time is pretty busy for him. I could have done my own taxes but we have a few complications and dad always seems to save me a few bucks through his ingenious tax preparation. Anyhow, it's the story of the shoe cobblers children not getting any shoes. Dad does the paying customers first and then we file extensions for me and a few others in the family. Not a problem, as I always seem to owe Uncle Sam anyway.

I hope you all had a good day and what is left to it.

LOL!

Had a good day. Conducted a training the first part of the day, then went to the office to put things away and prep for a training tomorrow.

It looks like I'll have a whole series of trainings in May for which I have to put together the training materials, so I'll need to do some supplies ordering.

Finally home, going through my work and sorority emails - getting business taken care of, drinking my hot chocolate from Starbucks...
