Today I turn over a new leaf. Of course, as usual, Matt is leading the charge.

Good Morning CGs!

Where'd you find my pic, Tommy? He's not jumping over fire, though.

Today I'm watching the rugrat while I sent the wife off to work. I told her she's not living here for free anymore.

Plans today are to go to the zoo since my daughter loves it there. We'll stop off and visit Tommy while we're there:

Resized Image

Other than that, I'd like to get in a workout while she naps. I had a killer KB workout yesterday and my legs are sore today! Last night I picked up the new pool skimmer assembly I need to fix the pool. And I'm glad I spent $25 last week on a skimmer face and gaskets since the new box includes everything for $40. MFs! Go figure. Sometimes it's easier to just buy it all new than piece it together. Guess I have spare parts, like usual.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Gurus. Playing catch-up this week. In the last week we have had three major thunderstorms with extremely high winds and damage. State Farm Adjuster was out Monday for roof damage. Neighbor last lost 80% of his shingles and his Bimmer Z4 has a new option 3" tree branch through windshield.
Today quiet,sunny with a high of 75.
Thinking about a new laptop! HP or Dell any suggestions?
Septic Guy is here to pump flooded tank. Side of truck reads they are number 1 in a number 2 business. 1-800-Poop. Cool

I'm in the wrong business! Pete the septic guy says he's been cleaning on average 15 tanks/day x $150. 7 days a week.He must be doing ok his truck is a Peterbuilt. Retired fireman.
The suction on this hose is unbelieveable! No turd left behind. Pete claims new technology with 2 stage pump can suck my 2,000 gal tank in under 8 minutes. Holy Sh&t!!
I know too much info. His Peterbuilt has a Cat Engine.
Green Power Fecal Friendly. This man is truly a sick puppy!
Instead of flames on the tank he has flying poop! This is really cool!. Need to get photobucket to work!!

Hasn't it though..... Glad to see everyone up and about. I've been out in the shop cutting big pieces of lumber into small pieces. I've got three little jobs going here, that ought to keep me busy for a few days.

If you had to buy a laptop computer today what would you buy?
Have you seen the Ridgid 12" table saw with a ceramic table top?

Ron, I've always been a little partial to Toshiba laptops, but quite honestly I've had good luck with Acer laptops too. My personal laptop is an Acer.

I have not seen the Ceramic top saws...I have seen one with Granite though...heavy, OMG. I have an old Unisaw (Forrest saw blades) that I have in the shop, it serves me very well.

Paint finally dried on the parts I had made up.

Loosely bolted it all together today.

Looks like it's going to work

I've had laptops since they first came on the market at something like $4k (most company supplied). Usually got a new one every 2 years but, the ones that crapped out before 2 years.

HP (2)
Dell, ick.
Compaq
Toshiba

My last Toshiba (which Tom has) lasted 2 years before the hard drive crapped.

So, being brilliant, I got another Toshiba. But for the $379 price, it couldn't be beat.

What I said was we took them to the track, and we do. Both cars have been used in autocross and 1/8 mile test and tune locally.

I have the Acer Ferrari One. Love it. Real cute, too.

hm... I spent day 2 at home sick... had this sore throat thing that just didn't want to let go. Then the glands in my neck were all swollen last night. Hurt like the dickens. I feel much better now... and as long as I don't cough, I am fine... coughing hurts a LOT.
