Good Morning CGs!

No real news to report here. Targa top got stuck on the weatherstripping yesterday sitting in the sun and tore it up when I removed it. Not too happy but oh well. It was crap weatherstripping to begin with. I guess it gives me a reason to replace it...again. It'll be fine for a while, just annoying. Better put some sil-glyde on it before I leave.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Great day yesterday. Nothing broke (that I know of). I bought a whole lot of groceries. Tried to make sure any and every craving could be satisfied. What happened? I was walking around at 10:30 last night wanting something but not quite sure what it was. Finally settled for a fig bar and called it a day.
I have no plans for today. I'll just do whatever my sweetheart wants to do. She's off for the next two days and Tuesday is her B-Bay. .... Yes Dear .... Whatever you want, whatever you want ..........

That happend to mine, the original weather stripping, stuck to the top and the center of the windsheild and tore a chunk off.. can't tell with the top on though but it annoys me..

Anyway just got up, and we will be figureing out where we are going to go today. Were up in Grand Rapids Michigan. We went to Holland, MI yesterday and check a couple things out there.. glad to have this 3 day weekend!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Not much planned for me today, except to go golfing after while. Wind is supposed to blow, breezy already. Cold front moving through tomorrow.

A perfect weather day here today, 85* except that I'm going back into the garage to add to my pile of crap to take to the dump.

I've never had the w/s stick on either top and it's still the origional. Either I'm lucky or ArmorAll works.

Bummer, good reason to lube that weatherstripping every so often. Car washing day today - gonna do some detailing on the new buggy and throw a coat of Rejex on it, and pull the wheels and coat them well. And the Vette is filthy. And then there's yard work. And probably something else. It is LABOR Day weekend, after all.

Good Morning Gurus!
Great Weather here too! I'm not sure what I'll get into today. Might run off to the gym sometime, but would like to take advantage of the nice weather. Probably should do some yard work today sometime. I rode my bike 40 miles yesterday. I'm building mileage again. I might be able to pull off a Century ride by late October if I keep at it. I did four Centuries (100 milers) last summer and then sat on my ass from last October until now. Its coming back quickly, so I'm pleased with the results so far.

Matt - I like the Sil-Glyde stuff too. It works pretty good.
I replaced all my WS about ten years ago. The rear hatch WS is separating again in the lower corner on the driver's side at the usual location. The Sil-Glyde helps that corner from tearing when the hatch is repeatedly closed.

Relaxing today, yesterday was hectic. My wife and I are heading over to Notre Dame and walk around the lakes and enjoy the morning. May follow Erin later on today in the Vette to Harbor Country in Michigan for wine and cheese tasting. My vision of cheese tasting is on a burger.
Erin is determined to take lessons on how to drive and gain confidence in her ZO6. Her boyfriend bought a new Ford Truck 4x4 nice vehicle. Well guys my collie just brought me her leash I guess shes ready for her walk at Notre Dame. Last time she crapped in front of three priests seating on a bench enjoying the lake. I commented on how little waste there was in her stool! priest just smiled and commented on her Notre Dame collar. My dog has class!!

Better if front of priests than in your new wet suit.

Sure did! Today there were a few priests seating on their benches watching the lake and of course Kelsey(collie) runs up to them. They are going crazy wanting to play with her and telling me about their dogs they had as kids. Now its fall in doggy time clock! which means she is shedding really to the extreme. The priest are dressed in black! They are covered in blond fur. No Tommy she didn't crap in front of them but by a student couple lying on the ground. One of the priest blessed her. My wife says to me later,"Yea noticed they blessed the dog Ron and not you" Cool!

Had a great day! Excursion to ND lakes and then a Wine tasting tour of the winerys in Michigan. Erin and her future husband in her vette and my wife and I followed in the 87. Nice cool sunny day. Winerys are known for Poinot Grapes. Chesses are local made. Bought Tabor Hill wine. Damn guys Erin's Vette is quick! doesn't blow any oil. L98 against a ZO6 is pointless. We traded vettes on the way home. At 6'4" and 265 the ZO6 doesn't fit me as well as the 87. The clutch shows no signs of wear or slippage.

Bill = LOL

Took the Vette to church this morning. It has an alternator going out so is making a growl up front. Still charging but I supposed that will end soon. Got one ordered but was suprised that no one had one on hand. What do you mean you don't have a 90 Vette alternater? Why not?

Other than that I am just hanging out. I did get GT's Dirty Dozen CD the other day but have not listened to it yet. Have some fun, you guys deserve it.

We are grilling out tonight and have a fire in the fire pit by the pond and enjoy the evening. Erin went after sweet corn and her collie.

Cool. I like the color & chrome too.

I have a test stand something like that. Really useful for getting the cam broken in, checking for leaks, etc. It can be a real time saver if you don't have to yank a motor that you just put in.
