Good Morning CGs!

Well I'm sore today. Don't know why. I only did a 4 mile run yesterday and I took Friday off for a recovery day. Maybe I need to relax a little more. Too much work makes Jack a dull boy.

The garage is "tidied" up for now. Still not clean as I would like it, I have to get rid of a few things and move some more stuff around. For now it's acceptable at best. I am really happy with the shelves, though. And there is still room on them to work with.

I wanted to change the trans fluid today but I don't know if that will happen. My sister and her fiance are in town from NYC for a wedding yesterday. They fly out this afternoon, so I'm gonna pick them up from the train station in a bit and then bring them here until their flight. It will be nice for them to see the baby and whatnot. Just the one, though, Jacob doesn't want to come out and play yet.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Never will be.

I managed to clean up for about a half hour and decided it would be more fun to wash the C4.
Headed to HD early to buy more stuff.

Greetings! Are you ready for some football? I hope that's what we get today, as last week was putrid. I'm trying to work up the ambition to change the rear-end lube in the Vette today - need to get that done as I'm avoiding driving it until it is.

Have a great one!

I still yearn for a garage to clean up. Some irons on the fire. Price and availablilty are the issues. Now my shed ........packed to the rafters. I have to move stuff to get to stuff. I know where almost everything is. If not I go to HD or Lowes and get it. Several of something is better than none.

Morning gurus...The garage will never be where you want it, at least I can't. Like Bill, just about the time I think it's there, I go to HD or Lowes and buy more stuff then have to find a place for it.

I'm up at school grabbing the camera and a couple other things. I'll get some pictures posted of the new pickup later.

Spent Sat doing another recovery dive off of a boat slip. This time it was a Glock 9mm that went overboard by a govt agent. I will keep his real agency a secret. Apparently slipped going on the the boat during an investigation and fell just right and his holster and Glock took a dive in about 40 foot of water. I gave him a lot of shit about it. Even though I knew the deck was wet from rain. Damn kids! Right ear is acting up again after the dive. This is becoming a chronic problem in the last 3 dives. Probably some critter is in there knawing at my brains. Watch Notre Dame loose another game last night.
Today going over to my daughters to edge a cut her grass. Shes been working 12-14 hour days plus a Junior League charity fund raiser Sat. The kid loves her work.
She bought a Ruger 380 last week and needs trigger time at the range this week. Yeah like shes ever going to get time! She has a lifetime concealed carry license.
Watching powerblock and gearz on speed. Better get going! Its sunny and cool today.

I have to move C4 exhaust systems, dirtbikes and racing karts just to get to my stuff.

1. Keep stuff cause you may need it.
2. Hide that stuff with other stuff in the shed.
3. Look in the shed for the stuff you wanted but you can't find it cause it's covered up with other stuff.
4. Go to HD to get new stuff that's the same as the old stuff.
5. Clean out the shed, take the old stuff to the dump to make room for the leftover new stuff which is the same as the old stuff you just threw out.

How often should that happen? Ahhhh, maybe I should change mine. How many miles before that is required?

I entered my car in the local car show yesterday. The weather was lousy so only about half the cars showed up. I had the 90 looking good and won a trophy. My wife laughed at it when she saw it. Which hurt our feelings, so we have banned her from the shop for one week. Let's see how she likes that!

How about those Huskers! Man, that was like old time religion in these parts. Preach it Brother! Enjoy your day!

P.S. Nice truck TeeBee!

I might as well want a new one cause I'm not getting a newer one in the near future.

I also want a 2011 ZR1.

Congrats on the trophy.

Actually there is no requirement for milage at all. Nothing in the owners manual or FSM. Soooooo, they can run 100,000+ unless you have posi issues.

There's none listed in my 2000 Silverado's owner's manual either and it has maintainence schedules for 100k+.

That being said, I'm going to do mine (85k) when I gat around to it.
At least within the next 2 years.

Thanks again guys....I have certain requirements and leather seats is one, which generally means you're getting quite a few more options along with them.

One of the neat things that I have never been exposed to is XM radio......that's nice, never been around it before and not sure how long I'll get it with this truck...might have to subscribe. The radio has an 1/8" mini plug so you can plug in your MP3 player, that's nice.

Oh, and the dash is that same milk chocolate brown instead of black...I like that too.

I already have my Truxedo tonneau cover ordered for it and I kept the bed rails off the 99 which I will cut down and install on this one.

Down the road I want to get a Corsa exhaust and a CAI. It's the damn kid in me.

Ditto!!

I only changed the diff lube because the rear-end was starting to make a moaning sound going around corners (I have about 57K on my car). I will reserve judgement until I drive it to work tomorrow, but on my short test drive, it seems to have done the trick.

Tom I'm getting the itch for a newer truck now!! 89 S10 4x4 body wise is showing its age. Put a zz4 in it a few years back. Runs great, its loud, poor gas mileage and no head restraints on the seats, forget whiplash your head will be in the bed of the truck if rear ended.

My 5.3 will light up the tire taking off.

But, of course, it has a 3:73 and one wheel drive.

Yea, the prices at the Goodwill Thrift Store have gone up.

But I still won't buy my toothbrushes at a yard sale.
