Good Morning everyone. Yesterday was outside day. Today is inside day. Laundry, housekeeping, bill paying and a quick trip to the Post Office top the list. I can hear music in my future. A friend of mine sent me this chain letter. You can tell it's a true friend by it's content. Hope everybody has a great day as we jump into an ass kickin month. Busy, busy, busy with a few parties thrown in for good measure. Enjoy ........

___________________________________________________________

You will see no cute little smiley faces on this Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.

1.. When you are sad ~ I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.

2. When you are blue ~ I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3 When you smile ~ I will know you are thinking of something that I would probably want to be involved in.

4. When you are scared ~ I will rag on you about it every chance I get until you're NOT.

5. When you are worried ~ I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused ~ I will try to use only little words.

7.. When you are sick~ Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall ~ I will laugh at your clumsy ass, but I'll help you up.

9. This is my oath .... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask ~ because you are my friend.

Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.

Send this to 10 of your closest friends (including the one who sent it to you).

Then get depressed because you can only think of 4.

Good Morning CGs!

Funny stuff, Tommy.

I would like to start my chat by giving credit to Timex watch corporation. I have owned several Timex watches over my lifetime, and have always had good luck with them. I bought a new one for my wife last Christmas and unfortunately, the face somehow broke and then recently the watchband broke. I sent it back to Timex at the address on the website along with $8.00 s&h. I included a note asking them to call/email me with repair costs but never heard anything back. Yesterday, I got a little box in the mail and my wife's watch was returned. There was a sticker on it that said "cannot be repaired". I was bummed out until I looked in the box again and they included a brand new watch to replace the broken one. Wow, that's good customer service. So I will not hesitate to buy timex watches in the future. Problem is, the one I'm using now is already 6 years old and has only needed a battery and a watchband. Go figure.

Gonna try to get some chores done around the house today. See how I used Tommy's out of "try"

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I still have a Timex my brother gave me in 1966. It doesn't run very long - maybe I'll send it in someday.

LOL Whudda ya think? It's like a Zippo lighter? Zippo repairs and refurbishes their old lighters for free. All you pay is the shipping to them. Not that most of you use a Zippo. I have several. They fix them, no questions asked.

I still have some Timex watches somewhere from when I was a kid, I'll bet they still work.

I have a gold Seiko that's 35 years old, most of the gold's rubbed off for wearing it everyday, in the shop, etc. Batteries last like 6-5 years, it's never needed repair.

I've been wearing Seikos for the past 25 years or so. I've had 4. 3 work. One had a seal failure letting moisture in and killing it. The silver finish lasts and lasts. My gold tone one is showing signs of age. A little dull. I like em.

I've been doing my own batteries. The seal split the last time and I just threw it away. But I don't live on the water.

Bright sunshiny day and going to be in the 40's. I might grill some steaks later. My hired man is coming to work and I got some sales calls to make.

I bought a Swiss Army watch about 10 years ago and can not distroy it. Have a profitable day Guru's!

Back in the day, Timex's were dirt cheap and really could take a beating. None of my students wear watches, cell phones do it all.
In the late sixties our standard issue Navy dive watch was a Gruen, Waltham, or Hamilton. They usually leaked after 6 months.
I still have all my Timex,Seiko and Citizen brand watches.
My dive watch now is a Casio, bullet proof!

My spring loaded stopper worked fine this morning.

I have a feeling the one inch crack in the glass has something to do with it.

Morning guys....I have a titanium Seiko that is absolutely the best watch I have ever owned.

It's been a bad morning already, the kids all took stupid pills last night or something.

Weather isn't terrible today 30* right now and headed for lower 50's. Listening to Christmas music again today.

Yea I did! Cold dark and not fun at all. Idiot dropped a Honda 150 hp outboard and an engine hoist over the side of the dock before removing the boat from the water. Couldn't figure out his reasoning or processing skills. Took a couple hours of my time.

I just took the Seiko self-winder I got for high-school graduation in 1973 in for some refurbishing - works like a champ.

Unrelated, the guy who makes the e-cig I have lives out in the middle of nowhere in Maine - he feeds the porcupines pretty well:

Get a reverse-osmosis drinking water system. Your coffee maker and iron will thank you.

Our well is 241 ft deep very little iron probably a lot of dinosaur piss.

Dive went well! and yes he had to pay. No checks no credit card either.
One thing in common with all these recovery dives lately have been very intelligent people doing incredibily stupid things!!!

Jose Felicianos Felice Navidad just came on the radio and it brought back a laugh. Many, many moons ago in the middle of summer, I was drinking beer and shootin pool at a little hole in the wall in Converse Texas. I walked over to the jukebox and threw in a buck and proceeded to hit Felice Navidad 10 times. The first time, no response, the second time the patrons started looking around, the third time the bartender came from behind the bar and unplugged the jukebox. The reaction of all concerned was worth every bit of that dollar. I still laugh whenever I hear that song.

Good evening gurus. Had one of those days where not much went right at work. Snowing here we got about an inch or so.
Weather man just forecast some more snow for the weekend.

The only watch I have is a cheap Casio. I have had it now for about 4 or 5yrs now. Someday I'll get a nice watch.

Good Evening Guru's. Having dinner at my parents tonight.
I hope all of you had a relaxing Thanksgiving!
I was unaware that Dad did another recovery dive. Wow! He still thinks he's in the Navy and 19 again. I have been in San Diego for two days. Security was OK nothing unusual. Sat next to a guy from AnnArbor Mich that was involved with Tim Allens voice over work for Chevrolet Commercials. Interesting guy owns two Corvettes, Studebaker Avanti and a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Hemi. So naturally we talked about Vettes, engines and oils. He turned 30 on Nov and I turned 29 last week. Hum.. a lot in common.. plus he was a Navy Diver.
Good Night Guys have a wonderful weekend. Erin
