... but which one do you want? I've got my eye on a perfect black '57 283/283 4-speed fuelie with white coves and a red interior.

If I couldn't get that car (maybe I don't have enough body parts to sell) I'd also go for a nice '62 in a metallic color.

A more realistic dream for me is a low mileage 1978 Pace Car with perfect interior. I just want to take it to cruise-ins and toy around with on club outings. Then the C4 will be for modding and racing.

Well Andy, since you broke the mold and went outside of Corvettes, I would love to have a Saleen S7.

Id love to have a 58 done up 60s nosatlgia style (love straight axle gassers!) , a mid year but I cant fit into eiher one of them .

Id love to have a 70 ZR1 or LT1 for some reason...ah, you know what, just a chrome bumper C3 with a 4 speed would be fine.

BUT, Im kinda spoiled by the C4, after having a C3 I know I wouldnt be happy with a C3 again .Good car for its time but I "know better" unless ya get one thats done/close to it.

25 years ago, a co-worker let me drive his '62 327/4 speed.

Fun car to drive, indeed. Straight line wonder.

But, I still reserve my "If I could have any car" for the '67 427/4 spd coupe with factory sisdepipes my brother had back in 1968. He paid $5k for it. Sold it a year later (Viet-nam called) for $4k.

I'll take a '57 or a '63 split window. Or both, just so I don't have to decide.

Since I don't fit too well in 50's, 60's, and 70's Corvettes and I don't think I could own one and let it sit, I'm stuck in the 80's and 90's. Too many good ones to choose from in that catagory, but I'd settle for a nice red vert. I think a red C4 vert is one handsome car.

No too exciting I guess, but you asked.

If I was forced to choose a C2, I would want a 65 BB coupe. First year for the BB and the only year with the 396. Sure the 427 is better and over shadows the 396 but when is the last time you saw a 65 396?

Now if we are talking non stock, any 63-72 coupe and I'd either put multiple different LSx combinations in it or just buy a different car each time I wanted the change the engine.

I still have a 67 Coupe. It's just a small block but, what the hell, I only paid $3,000 for it.

What I'd really like to have is a C5R.

For pure styling, I love the 62! I kind of miss the toothy grille, but the boat tail makes up for that loss. On balance, the 62 is my favorite Corvette when just considering styling.
If I can't have that, I want a 1971 454. The bumpered C3 is #2 on my list.

Or, I can just go to my garage, there's a sweet white/red 87.

I guess I forgot to say which year I'd really like. It's very much like corvetteron's. Except 66 427/425 4 speed, marina blue with white interior (roadster preferred, but I'd take a coupe).
