Good Morning CGs!

Baby was up all night every half an hour. I'm beat this morning already and I just woke up! Decided to try to work on the dead hard drive again with some other recovery programs, doesn't look like it's gonna work, though. I already told the neighbor it's F'd unless they want to send it off to a specialty company for a few hundred bucks. They weren't interested in that.

We plan on going to Ikea today to do a little shopping and then I have some chores around the house, I think I might try to paint some old furniture. We'll see how that goes.

Howdy! Hope everyone celebrates Hump Day in the traditional fashion. Been busier than hell at work, bringing work home every night - ughhh. Looks like more of the same is on tap for today.

Got client meetings today and more office work. Weather is crappy so no joy there. Looking forward to good warm weather again....

Marcus - the car is hibernating. I want to work on it, but have limited time with the kids and work, etc. My wife doesn't understand that NOW is the time to do projects since I'm not driving it.

Working on the HDD still...trying a few other angles. I found an i/o error....got windows to recognize the drive under computer management....it's shows 100% free drive space. So I don't know if they got a virus that wiped everything clean? Or with the drive/partitions being corrupted it just won't access. Either way, it's still F'd.

Morning guys....another day at school. This is a "normal day". Monday not being here, yesterday we let out early so we could attend that funeral for the school employee that passed from cancer, that was quite a spectacle, 2 hours. I wasn't the only one who got up and left, I wasn't expecting a 2 hour ordeal, and had made an appointment before it was done.

I have today and tomorrow then I'm off to KC Thursday after school to go to "The Woodworking Show" Friday and Saturday. So a really short week for me.

Marcus, what brand seeds do you market? I've been doing some consulting work to a former student who is building an office in a new building for the Pioneer guy here in town. It's quite a nice office complex in the end of his 60 x 120 steel building.

Weather isn't too bad. Breezy, cool but still above normals.

Brad that video is incredible. Those pilots are very good indeed. I don't know about white knuckles, but I'm pretty sure there was some butt puckering.

Matt did you try the freezer trick? Worth a try if you didn't.

Ok Matt, you posted up before I got mine posted. That ain't good on the drive. sounds like a virus to me.

Rough night. I have a combo head cold/stomach virus kinda thing going on since yesterday. Hopefully it's one of those two day varieties. Sick sucks. Trying to work on some paperwork. I'll be OK once I get the ball rolling. Tax stuff, an agricultural expemption, a Homestead exemption and a complation of everything I need to make everything move smoothly. Fun , fun , fun.

I'm even trying to run a chkdsk through the command prompt and it gives me the error "cannot open volume for direct access"

I think I'm done. I don't know if it was a virus or the drive itself, but there's no chance of recovering any data. Maybe I'll format it and see if it still works. I dunno.

Matt, I went to Ikea once to buy a leather couch. They sold me a cow and 2 allen wrenches.

One more day for me this week then it is off to Delaware for a long weekend. Belated Christmas with the kids / grandkids and assisting at an international photo exhibition judging.
Tonight might be a class on gluten free baking (doesn't that sound exciting?).

@TB.....I sell Syngenta Seed and Dekalb and Mycogin....but mostly Syngenta. Being a Pioneer dealer is like having a license to steal......I would be driving a newer Z06 if I could get in on that......
