Good Morning CGs!

Supposed to be a bit cooler today, 81 as opposed to 91 yesterday and 97 two days ago. That dip in the pool yesterday was great, can't wait to do it again. Water temp was 74 which is warm for the first day open. I like it about 76-78 but better than 68 which it has been in the past.

Ordered a few repair parts for the vette last night. I want to get my ac going this year. Lots of little projects to do.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Hey! Gonna be a lovely evening for golf league - high of 61 with a chance of rain between 4PM and 7PM. But at least it will be windy.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Ah geez bad night. I started P90X yesterday morning and jumped right in with a full workout and then worked all day and my muscles were so tight I could not sleep. Finally about 2:30 I jumped in the hot tub and that finally relaxed me enough to get to sleep......now I am very tired and its......BIG TUESDAY......

I guess I gotta start slow due to my age but I hate limitations and that is what age does .....

I gotta go I better take a lot of caffeine with me....have a good day Guru's.....

M o r n i n g g u y s . . . . . I, too, had a not so good night. Could NOT get comfortable again. No pain really, just uncomfortable. Went from bed, to my lazy boy, to the couch and finally back to bed. Pain meds didn't help at all. I have PT in about an hour, I'll ask them about it. Everything I've heard is after the first two weeks that things get better pretty fast. I sure hope so today is the end of two weeks.

For once I slept great. Just not enough of it. Didn't want to come back to work today, the drive yesterday wore me out, and I'm caught up here at work so it will be a long day today. I hope the boss decides to take off and stay home, he brings stress in the door with him and I'm not up for it today. I'd like to go back home and sleep some more...

Ultra, what is P90X? Some sort of a workout program?

Did not sleep well last night, trying to track down an irritating ground issue on the RX7 which blows a fuse not allowing car to start.

Then get in the Vette to go to work and that won't start, making strange noises. I've already posted a question on the scant information I have. Took Miata to work.

Hope you guys have a good day!

Greetings!

I've got another mellow day today.

We tried using the rotisserie attachment on our grill last night for the first time. We did two whole chickens - and it was outstanding! I made some Klondike Gold mashed potatoes, veggies, and gravy. Delish!

My wife and I volunteered to help out our new neighbors. My wife even kicked in two of her crew members. My BIL came over with the backhoe for an hour and a half. Only charged them a hundred bucks and that went to my BIL. About $650 worth of work for a hundered bucks. I'd say that was downright neighborly. That's the Guru way. Do something nice for someone today and everyday. Give somebody a hand up. You never know when you may be the one needing a hand.

What would you do for a Klondike bar? Sounds like it should make those potatoes tasty, Tommy.

Stupid, stupid........hurts then quits, swells up (mildly) then goes back down.

The dumb thing is...it feels much better the more I walk on it. Goes back to huurting if I sit in a chair with it bent. Then, feels better if I walk.

It also can get worse when I sleep, must be doing deep knee bends in my sleep.

Evening guys...it has been a pretty good day. Late here the leg has been achy. Went out with wife and grandson to eat. After that we took GS to the school's big parking lot to let him drive some.

He is taking drivers Ed and up to now has NEVER shown any interest in learning to drive. Rosie took him out the other day to let him do some driving, but she had assumed that he knew something about driving....wrong. I discussed with him the controls, dash and pedals. So once we got there he did a pretty good job. It's a big parking lot and we went round and round. Stop and go turning, angle parking. More practice is needed.........LOTS more practice.

Ya a guy named Tony Horton who is a workout guru started putting these together and had a P90 workout which is the one that led up to the P90X program. Get ripped in 90 days. I like it because it mixes things up each day. I went through it a year or so ago and was doing really well. I was in good shape.

Infomercials on all the time on Direct TV or look up their website at Beachbody.com

Its an hour every day if you buy in.....I had to take one or two days off to recoup....

Yep, give them your credit card number and the price is $14.99 for your "Trial". But they won't tell you the real price.

The program may be very, very good but the guy is a sleezebag.
